  ~Castiel~ first person

After confessing my secret to Dean, I knew my fellow angels would find out soon enough. I'm sure Hannah would stay by my side, but I'm not sure about the other angels. They're still pissed from the last time I did something they didn't agree with. I would be yet again hunted down and thought of as a monster. And I couldn't afford to be seen as that again.

But Dean was worth it. I could feel it.

The next morning I went to go see Dean, who I found to be searching through Men of Letters files. I came up from behind him, touching his shoulder. He must have sensed me coming because he didn't show any sign of surprise. Or maybe that's just the way it was with Dean.

He stood up from the chair and turned to face me, he gave a smile.

"Cas," he started, "I missed you."

He leaned towards me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Awkwardly, Sam was walking in at the same time, and obviously hadn't gotten the memo of what happened last night.

We turned to face him, as he looked kind of shocked. Sam had a smile on his face though, and looked pretty alright with it.

"Destiel..?" he laughed, "CasDean? What do you want to call it?"

"I like the sound of Destiel better." I chimed.

"If I'm gonna date this angel, my brother will have to stop joking about it." Dean smiled.

The smile Dean had on his face was definitely the least fake I had seen ever since I'd met him. I'm glad I confessed to him.

"So, Angel, when's our first date?"

He grabbed a beer out of the fridge, popping the cap open. He also sat in the chair backwards, facing me. Which I found to be quite cute. I never would have thought to sit in a chair that way if it weren't for him.

Sam left the room, leaving us alone.

"What's your favorite kind of pie, Dean?"

"Apple. My mom used to make it." He looks to the ground, absorbed in faint memories.

I took a seat also, telling my brain to remember this information. It was important now, he was my boyfriend.

"I tried apple pie once. It tasted like socks, to me." I replied

That made him smile and shake his head.

"Oh, Cas. I have a lot to teach you," he said, "There's so many things you don't know."

He told me to come closer, so I did. I felt tense, and it looked obvious.

He wrapped his arms around me, setting the beer down, and pulled me in so that his lips touched mine. It felt irreplaceable. It felt hard, but it felt so soft. His lips were perfect. There was a slight beer flavored tinge to them, which made him even more attractive. He held me as we continued to kiss. I just wanted to kiss him, and that's all I wanted to do. I wouldn't care if the angels were watching. If others could see. I wanted to be with him.

He finally pulled away and gently stroked my cheek. He complimented my kissing, even though I haven't ever done that much of it.

We looked each other in the eye for a few seconds, before I moved away.

I turned away from him and before I left I said, "tomorrow at 4pm. The closest burger place to here."

Then I started for the door.
