The day came for Dean and I's date. I intended for it to be the first one of many. But that wasn't usually the way it went, though, with him.

I was sitting at the table for two in the restaurant we agreed to meet at. There was an empty chair across from Castiel, that Dean would sit in. Nervous about what to say, I thought back to when Hannah and I were practicing last night.

"Hello, Dean"
"You look nice, Dean"
"I can't believe it, Dean" I faced Hannah as I practiced.

She kept laughing, "Castiel, your talent in that area is lacking."

"I'm super nervous. You don't know how this feels, Hannah"

"I guess I don't. But you're strong, Castiel. Fight the fear, don't be scared. It's just a few words."

"I know, I know."

I was too caught up in thought to notice that Dean was sitting in front of me, snapping his fingers in front of my face.

"Cas, you okay? Cas?"

I quit daydreaming in an instant, "DEAN?"

I was such an idiot. Those were my first words on my first date? I had to do better than that.

"You froze up on me." Dean said, as he sat down.

"Hello, Dean" I said, as my face turned red.

"So, Eros, ¿Qué pasa?" He said

He called me Eros. Eros. That was an enochian word. It meant 'My Love'. I was surprised Dean knew what it meant.

"You did some research?" I asked

He looked me in the eye and winked, smiling, "I had to make it a great first date."

Before he could say anymore, he stood up and asked me to follow him to the bar. So I followed closely, taking a seat on one of the red/silver bar chairs.

"I don't know if I'll be very good at this, Dean." I mentioned

He called over the bartender and ordered two drinks, without checking her out. He didn't even take one look at her, which was surprising.
The drinks came. One was set in front of me, and the other in front of Dean. He took the drink, sipped it, then set it down.

Facing me, he said "Don't think you'll be good at.. what?"

"This whole 'special first date' thing." I explained, "I spent two hours practicing it with Hannah, and now I'm too flustered to even say the right things."

"You'll get there." He pointed to my drink, "It's beer, try it."

I was reluctant at first, but then I decided that it wasn't likely I'd taste much.
I took a sip, while Dean watched.

"So how is it?" He waited for a reaction.

"I taste.. molecules"

Dean laughed, looking amused, "Who knew angels could be so adorable? Let's order food."

"I don't eat.."

"I know, I know, it's for me" Dean assured.

He paused for a second, staring at my lips. I immediately noticed, and tensed. up. Dean thought about kissing me again.

After a few seconds, he turned to the nearest waiter and said, "Tell them to cook a bacon burger turbo, and large chili-cheese fry"

He also ordered another beer for himself, and a take-out salad for Sam. When the waitress disappeared into the kitchen, Dean turned back toward me.

I tried to engage in conversation, "Dean, we can't let other angels know about us."

"Yeah, I know. They'll go hunting my ass." He rolled his eyes.

He paused for a second, and looked at my drink, "Drink something, you look weird just holding it there."

"I look weird..?"

Dean smirked, "Well you looked cute drinking it."

"I looked cute..?"

He smiled and looked at his drink, thinking about me, obviously. Hannah had given me advice about what to say if I got called 'cute'. I'd forgotten it.

"Elasa Bolape Ozien.." Dean tried to impress me.

It meant 'you are mine' in enochian. The beautiful language where Dean failed at pronunciation.

"You need to work on your pronunciation." I laughed

"Come on, Angel! I spent time!"

"So what else do you know in enochian?" I asked, curious.

He leaned forward until his lips touched mine. Again, it felt like the world was closing in on him and me. I wondered how he could make me feel the way I did. After kissing my lips, he pulled away.

"I'll teach you" he said, stroking my lips with his finger.

He saw his food come in our direction and he yelled,

"Hey, that's mine."
