"happy birthday," cleo smiled softly, handing an envelope to sebastian.
"thank you," he smiled back, placing his hand on her arm softly, before taking it.
he peered over her shoulder before waving at more people flooding through the door.
"i'm going to go say hey to some people, but we can catch up later if you want?" he asked.
she nodded, and he grinned, before heading over to see his friends. __________
cleo was sat at the bar with elizabeth when sebastian walked over.
"having a fun evening?" elizabeth asked, making cleo laugh.
they'd been watching him dance for the past two hours straight.
"something like that!" he laughed, taking a sip of his beer.
"well you won't get me out there!" liz laughed, causing seb to look to cleo.
"don't look at at me! i'm injured!" she exclaimed, making elizabeth scoff.
"yeah okay," elizabeth mumbled, rolling her eyes. "i'm going go annoy evans," she grinned, hopping off the bar stool, and walking over to where anthony and chris were chatting.
sebastian took elizabeth's seat, and placed his bottle on the bar top.
"ce mai faci?" he asked, as she drank the random liquid in her cup, that elizabeth had ordered her.
"i'm alright," she smiled. "you?"
"i'm great,"
"did you get a chance to read your card yet?" she asked playing with the hem of her dress.
"not yet!" he smiled. "why?" he asked, raising his eyebrow.
she smirked and shrugged.
"there may be something interesting in there," she smiled.
he raised his eyebrow again.
"fair enough,"

when sebastian arrived back to his hotel room, he placed his gifts and cards on his desk, before pulling out the one from cleo.
he sat on the end of his bed before opening it.
he laughed, inside the envelope was a letter, and a card with captain america on the front.
he decided to read the card first.
SEB, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! CLEO
he placed the card down before unfolding the letter.
I'M FINALLY READY TO TALK, DROP BY MY APARTMENT WHEN FILMING IS DONE, I'VE PUT MY ADDRESS AT THE BOTTOM.

seb smiled, before placing the letter down with the card. he was happy she was ready to hear him out, even if she never forgave him he was pleased she was finally giving him the chance to explain himself.
