Ok, so the last chapter was BEFORE Lucas asked Aimee to be his girlfriend. In fact, it turned out much more romantic than I said in Lucas's POV. I just thought it might be more fun to experiance in Aimee's POV. Anyway, let's move on to the story:
~Aimee's POV~
After schoool, Lucas told me to be ready at 6:30. I asked him why, but all he said was that he'd come by my house at that time. I'm kind of scared, yet excited about what Lucas is planning.
I've no idea what he is going to surprise me with, so I took maybe a half hour to get ready. I'm SUPER SUPER SUUUUPPPERR excited!! But also nervous. I hope I don't screw this up.
It's 6:27, 6:28, AGHHH!! THIS IS TOO MUCH TO HANDLE!
I stare at the clock as the minutes pass by. 6:29, 6:30.
It's 6:30... crap. He's gonna be here ANY MINUTE NOW!!
6:31, 6:32. Where is he? Did he cancel? Maybe he's just late? I think of every possiblity that is possible. Then I think, am I ready? Is this a sign from god that I'm forgetting something?
I go look in the bathroom mirror.
"Flawless," I tell myself. I check my purse. Phone, extra money, makeup, makeup removed, deodorant, pefume. Yes, I have everyhing.
I double-check everything and then suddenly...
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
I freeze. I CAN NOT MOVE. He's here! OMG OMG OMG HE'S HERE!! I freak out and run to the door, tripping and falling over every single step.
I open the door.
"Hey," Lucas says.
"Bubb- Bubba BUBBLES!" crap.. did I really just say that?
"Uhm.. yea bubbles are cool."
"Haha, yea.."
I feel so embarresed.. "So, uhm, sorry I'm just kind of, well, I don't know.. I'm just excited for uhm.. well.. for whatever we're doing."
"Oh, that's okay! I'd be nervous too," Luke laughs.
We continue to walk to Luke's 'special surprise.'
