I’ve been more social lately. It’s as if I actually enjoy going outside now, and it hasn’t become something I have to do in order to live. I enjoy being surrounded, at least by Claude and Alois. I have come to hold people dear, again, at least Claude and Alois.
I don’t know how this will all come to work out, but I do know that I am happy to spend time with the two.

I walked down the streets of our town. Everything seemed brighter than usual, people no longer faceless to my unimpressed eyes. I held my head higher, and socialized with some of the people who took time to talk to me. Was this the influence others could have on an anti-social like me? It’s quite terrifying to be honest.
It’s not like I never talked to people, but it’s not like I always embraced the conversation either. I wasn’t an open book, I kept my pages chained and binded. But, these days, I’ve met people who have the key.
Speak of the devils.
“We even shop at the same grocery store,” said Claude as he sighed.
“Hello, Ka-chan!” exclaimed Alois. He was loud and clear, which had a few suspicious glances sent our way.
I smiled at the blonde. “Hey.”
“What are you getting?” asked Claude.
“Some milk, eggs, ham, and bread,” I listed.
“Oh,” said Claude as he rose any eyebrow.
“What?” I asked as I rose an eyebrow. “I can’t buy food?”
“No, no,” said Claude. “I was just expecting some general answer, like ‘You know, food,’ or something.”
I chuckled at Claude’s ‘You know, food,’ suggestion and smiled. “Well, the things I listed are just ‘you know, food,’ so, you’re not wrong.”
He smiled and nodded. “We’re here for food as well.”
“Yeah! And a BIG lollipop!” cheered Alois. “Right, Clauddy?”
Claude sighed. “Yes, and a big lollipop.”
“No, a BIG lollipop,” corrected Alois.
Claude heaved another sigh. “Yes, Alois, a BIG lollipop.”
I held in my laughter at the adorable display. These two weren’t always this close, were they?
Guess I can change people too~
“Do you guys want to come over for dinner?” I asked.
Alois grinned with wide eyes. “Yes!”
Huh, looks like my house will be invaded by an adorable child and grumpy old man. What a lovely dinner this will be~

I fixed the pork in the kitchen. We were having pork cutlet bowls today. It was a personal favorite of mine, and my favorite ice skaters ever. Yes, I like cold, but beautiful sports.
I watched as Alois admired my home. “It’s so clean!”
“Thank you,” I said as I stirred up the pork a bit.
“It’s quite plain though,” muttered Claude. “Ah! But, still nice!”
I chuckled. “I like being average, so thank you.”
Claude sighed. “You’re above average, to be honest.”
A blush made its way across my face. I stayed quiet at that.
The meal was almost done anyway.

“Itadakimasu!” exclaimed Alois as he grinned. He then looked at me with sparkly eyes. “I said it right, right! Right!”
I nodded with a small smile. “Yes.”
“I did it! See, Clauddy, I know my Japanese,” said Alois as he grinned.
I laughed at Claude as he sighed.
Claude let out a small smile. “You’re becoming more open.” He then pushed up his glasses.
“I guess…” I mutter as I looked away.
A silence then fell at the table. Alois looked lost but smiled and ate anyway. If he was still happy, I guess this wasn’t such a tense atmosphere. It was still calm and gave me a fluttery feeling.
