And now it was your turn for a terrible day. Only a week after you had comforted Joe. You woke up to seeing mean tweets far too prominent on your timeline and comments on recent vlogs you had appeared in being mostly negative about you.

They all just seemed to have an affect on you today. And made everything seem to not be good. At this moment, your eyes were focused on the reflective surface in front of you and you saw all the horrible parts of your body. The bits you wishes you could change- of which there were many. And no amount of 'taking your own advice' would help.

Today was one of those days where you couldn't just move on. Seeing how cute you and Joe were last week made you even angrier. He only saw you as a friend, a very good friend at that but nothing more. He loved you as he would love any of the guys. You fit in as one of them. You never did the whole makeup thing and your wardrobe rarely changed from the basics. You were happy with a slice of pizza and a game of FIFA and you never really did care much for anything classed as being stereotypically 'girly'. Serious selfies came once in a blue moon and you couldn't help but pick up a few pieces of clothing from the boys section in a store just because they were so much comfortable.

He wouldn't want someone like that. That wasn't his 'type'. Some girls could pull it off and look amazing. That wasn't you. It never would be.
With your vision now blurred, your body distorted with tears. For a second, you saw yourself as you wished to be. Flowing hair, flawless skin, a figure to die for and the perfect height. Taller than you were now, skinnier than you were now, less freckled skin and hair that didn't look like a mad scientist whenever you woke.

You couldn't look any longer. And soon you were on your knees. It never would be.

~~~Joe's POV~~~
I couldn't help but constantly think about what (y/n) had told me last week. About how she hated herself. I couldn't even fathom any reason why those thoughts would cross her mind. To me, as cheesy as it sounds, she is perfect.
She's funny and she's reckless and she doesn't bloody care if she makes a fool of herself. She steals my clothes and she beats me in FIFA and she laughs when I'm scared at Outlast.
She's smart and she's stupid and her sense of direction is ridiculous but she'll still manage to make any day a good one. And she's beautiful. Even on a far too early morning when only the commuters are awake and we have a plane to catch, she's gorgeous. With hair only pulled into a basic ponytail and clothes baggy on her body, she'd have her glasses on and she'd still look perfect.
And I'm not going to lie, she can bloody pull a good prank. She had got me on more than a few occasions and I had been struggled to find a perfect way to get revenge.
I wasn't stupid. I had seen the comments on my latest vlog.
Why doesn't she wear any makeup? No wonder she's still single.
And to be honest, it made me feel sick. That people that watch my videos would say such things about her. Partly because I was now aware of how much they could affect her. So, as night crept up on the London skyline, I grabbed my keys from the counter and exited my apartment with a destination of finding (y/n).
~~~Your POV~~~
You had always found it peaceful here. At the top of the Gleam office building. The roof had an amazing view of the city around you and it was a place that held many memories to you. Coming up here to get away from Joe's annoyance when he found out you'd pranked him or running from Josh as he attempted to tickle you until you apologised for posting a tweet from his account.

You weren't even a YouTuber but you regularly spent time here just because the guys were regularly here.

"Figured I'd find you up here" An all too familiar voice cuts into your tranquil setting.

"I needed to get away for a bit" You comment, shuffling along on your part of the roof to make room for him on the section you always sat.

"I can't blame you" he replies, moving close to you, "Though you could've picked a place a little warmer"

"I don't know. There's something refreshing about it. Clears your mind and all that crap"

Joe chuckles at you being your typical self and you feel his hand rest on yours, "I'm sorry about the comments"
"You can't apologise. They have the right to say their opinion" You mention, not wanting to say anything bad about his followers.

"No its not right. They have no reason to be horrible about you. There's nothing wrong with you not wearing makeup or the clothes you wear" He retorts, "They should see you for you. For the gorgeous, wonderful girl that I know"

"Shut up Sugg" You roll your eyes, not wanting his sympathy.

"No come on (y/n) I'm not lying, you shouldn't have to put up with that"

"Honestly Joe, you don't have to. Can we just talk about something else?" You ask, squeezing his hand.

"Umm sure" He nods and you see him wipe his other hand on the material of his jeans, "You know about last week?"
You nod in reply, turning now to look at him. You could see the glints of city lights in his warm eyes and every feature of his face this close up.

"I was thinking about what you said" He begins, "About me finding that girlfriend"

"You better have a point here Joseph" You joke.

"I think I might have found her" He comments.

"Oh really?" You raise your brows, almost feeling your heart break, "What's she like?"

"She's beautiful, perfect height for me even if she thinks she's small" He grins, "And she's funny, funnier than me, and she's crazy smart, and sometimes just plain crazy"

"Sounds perfect for you" You smile politely.

"And she's got a better sense of style than I do, even without trying. And she's a rugby fan just like me, even been to lots of games. Oh and let's not forget how she can thrash me in a game of FIFA" He laughs

"Looks like I'll have to play her some time" You mention and a part of you hates him for ruining your haven.

He intruded your peace to simply come in and unknowingly crush your heart. And you despised it.

"But most importantly she doesn't care about me crying in front of her. In fact, she encourages it. She says it's good to let it out" He smiles.

"So what's this girls name?" You ask him, with real curiosity this time.
