When You Love Someone

Even when you love someone, sometimes it's not the right time for things to happen.

The relationship didn't make sense at the start because we were both super busy and didn't have time for each other.

We remained friends and we've been close ever since. We both agreed to call the relationship off, but we refused to date other people. No one understood why because we were both single everyone told us to get out, go on dates and flirt but neither of us did.

We would act like a couple but we were just friends. We loved each other but it made sense to be apart.

Joe would always be round my apartment and if we weren't at mine we would be at his. He had a key to mine and i had a key to his. Whatever i had he had. Thats how we worked.

Everyone tried to get us back together, but we got them to try and believe it was for the best that we were just friends.

For now.

"Babe you got my phone charger?" Joe called out, merging from the kitchen to the front room.

"It's in the bedroom, I'll get it for you."

Walking out of the room you turned to glance over your shoulder to find Joe watching you walk away, with a smirk on his face.

"I seriously don't understand why you and Y/N aren't together," Oli commented with Josh agreeing.

"You love her don't you?" Josh questioned.

"I love her of course I do," Joe smiled taking a seat on the sofa making himself comfy.

"Please explain to us again why you two aren't a couple. Everyone can see the chemistry, the romance, the passion but you aren't together." The facial expressions of Oli and Josh showed to be throwing confusing looks at Joe because they didn't understand.

"We both have busy schedules so we decided to stay friends at this time, that doesn't stop me from loving her" Joe lent back into the sofa still smiling.

Relaxed. Chilled out. The boys watched Joe's smile grow bigger as Y/N walked back into the room picking up Joe's phone placing it on charge.

"Thanks babe."

Y/N just smiled walking back over to Joe taking a seat on his lap. He wrapped his arm around her waist kissing her temple. Joe started to twirl Y/N hair around his fingers and Y/N snuggled into his lap even more, getting cosy.

They both received looks from Oli and Josh. Who still remand confused.

"You two hang out whenever you have free time, you both act like this," Josh started.

"You two are so in love you have been for ages. please explain why nothing's happening" Oli asked once again.

Joe and Y/N just looked at each other.

"We tried the relationship but it didn't work at the time. Just waiting for the right moment. Not rushing just enjoying right now."

Later on Joe and Y/N found themselves alone as Josh and Oli had gone home.

Joe and Y/N never hid their feelings for each other, they weren't afraid of showing the love they had.

They shared magical moments together.

They were truly meant to be.

The way they looked at each other melted hearts, they treated each other with so much respect, they made each other feel so special.

"I love listening to your heart beat," Y/N was lying on Joe's chest while they lay in bed together ready for the night to end.

"I love you," Joe replied kissing the top of Y/N's head.

"I love you too" Y/N sighed.

She wanted the relationship but she knew the timing wasn't just quite right yet.

"One day everything will fall back into place beautiful," Joe looked down at Y/N, linking their hands together.

"I look forward to that day," Y/N returned the look up to Joe.

"So do I babe, so do I," Joe lent down and planted a gentle, but passionate kiss on his lover's lips.

At the end of the day if the timing isnt right you cannot rush things. You have to have guts to wait for the right moment.

You cannot rush relationships.

You cannot rush love.

Joe's and Y/N's connection was something different.

They both knew there would be no one else. It was only them too. Even if they were away from each other for a long period of time. They came back.

They knew it was love.

Love that wouldn't die.

When you love someone, you will do anything to keep that love alive.

i have this week, and then Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week, and then its Christmas break!
