"Here you go." Louis said handing Niall two envelopes

"One is for you and the other is for Harry." Louis said sniffing, a bit red from the eyes

"What is this?" Niall asked looking at Louis with concern

"Zayn wrote us all a letter before he left." Louis said wiping away his tears

"Oh, okay thank you. Want to come in?" Niall asked

"No sorry, i should be heading back to Liam's. Don't want to leave him alone for too long." Louis said giving Niall a small smile

"Alright then, see you later." Niall said giving Louis a quick hug before closing the door

"Who was at the door?" Harry asked coming out of the kitchen

"Louis, here, Zayn wrote you a letter." Niall said handing Harry the envelope with his name on it

Harry raised his eyebrow but opened it anyway. While Harry was reading his, Niall decided to read his.

Dear Niall,

Remember when we were twelve years old and we decided to play a little game.
That i would be your big brother that protects you and you'd be the annoying little brother?

Although that was just a game we played when we were young, i never really stopped playing that role. Just because i'm not physically there to protect you, i'm still there with you.

I hope you and Harry have an amazing life, mention me to your kids won't ya ;).
Make sure that Liam finds love again someday for me please.
Maybe Louis? Don't tell them i said that!

Once Harry finished reading his letter, he noticed Niall silently crying and pulled him in for a hug.

~next day~

Niall and Harry were back in school the next day and had to do another project before the winter break starts.

"Life is such a beautiful thing, people take things a lot for granted and never take the moment to enjoy things. This is a solo assignment so no partners, for this assignment I want you to write a song about you care about and let them know that you appreciate them." Mr. Parker said handing out the rubric to everyone

Niall sighed and tugged at his hair, he couldn't sleep well last night and he was quite cranky today. Niall looked at Harry and smiled at him, he thought he could write a song towards Harry but he already did with his previous song and wanted to change it up a bit.

The bell rang for dismissal and Harry met up with Niall, "I hope you don't take this the wrong way and it doesn't mean i don't care about you but i'm going to write a song about my mum on this project." Harry said throwing his arm around Niall's shoulders

"Aw that's sweet of you, I can't wait to hear it. Anyway, I was thinking of changing it up a bit since the last song was basically towards you. But I have no idea on who, i know that mum would be a common thing that everyone will do." Niall said realizing what he said

"I'm not saying that it's bad! Everyone's song will be different I just want mine to be about someone else." Niall said quickly

"Yes, yes i understand." Harry said chuckling and gave Niall a kiss on the cheek

wow it's been so long since i updated. i'm so sorry, finals are creeping up and i'm gonna do terrible i just know it.

Also since one direction have been on break, it hasn't really given me excitement to update because narry is dead. :(

anyway, i'll probably update later on today i'm not so sure. not making any promises!!
