HEAD STUCK IN her books, Nadia Greene didn't have time for romance. No, she had other things to focus on, like the two-page paper Slughorn assigned them in Potions, and the extra credit she had to do for DADA after unfairly getting marks off an assignment. Her world was so much larger than kissing a fool just to kiss them, holding a hand just to have the comfort of someone else. She had work to do, because being the top of her class proved to everyone that a muggleborn like her truly belonged at Hogwarts.
She wasn't oblivious to some of the looks she got, or the opinions of some of her classmates. Her father had no magical blood in his system, neither did anyone in his family, and her mother was probably a muggle as well, though it wasn't like she could actually confirm that. Some people didn't believe she could make it in such a world as the one full of wizards, or that she belonged, but she was going to prove that she did.
Part of that plan was being a Ravenclaw prefect along with Lorenzo Donovan. Only a top student who exemplified the morals of Hogwarts could be selected, and since she had such a position she had to belong. She expected long nights with Loren, not long nights with Sirius Black, who also somehow become a Gryffindor prefect. And it was all thanks to the staff wanting to encourage relations between houses. At least he agreed to set her up with Remus Lupin for all the troubles he was totally going to give her...

━━ 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒆. welcome to the revised/rewritten version of all my heart! if you have been lucky enough to not read the first version, i wrote it when i was thirteen and new to fanfiction and it was terribly written. it was a mess of things that didn't make sense, plot lines that didn't go anywhere, and everything was rushed and nothing was very well explained. the timeline for events was off as well.
but, forgetting that mess, here we are with this version which will hopefully be a lot better! i love nadia, always have, and i want to properly tell her story and be proud of it instead of being something i shun and don't like to think about. so while the main plot will stay the same, some things will change, like the fact that a new character has been added to the cast so that will a lot of fun to explore as well!
one thing to note is that this is apart of my metanoia series. however, you don't need to read any other book in the series to understand nadia's story. hers is a standalone that exists in the same world as the rest of the books in the series, but is still completely separate from them.
