"Mom," Hanamiya muttered, looking at the TV screen to hide the red that tinted his face.

"Oh?" She smiled teasingly. "Is that a blush I see?"

"Mom," he repeated firmly.

She laughed. "I'm just messing with you, Makoto. Can't your mother have some fun?"

He deadpanned. "By making fun of me?"

She waved her hand like it was nothing. "Don't be so dramatic, honey."

Hanamiya sighed. It's been a few weeks since chemotherapy. He could tell that hair was starting to fall out, but it wasn't that bad.

"You know, it's not often a girl takes interest in you," his mom commented, sitting beside her son.
