I grabbed my pillow and a blanket and headed toward the bedroom door. You laid there in our bed, oblivious to what was occurring. I opened the door, then turned to stare at you. You looked so peaceful as you laid there, and my hurt transformed into fury. How could you be so calm as my world falls apart?
I looked at you as you rolled onto your back. "Are we okay?" I ask. Your face screams confusion, and in this moment I felt everything I know become a life I never knew I was living.
