I tried to find a song that explained exactly how much I missed you when you're gone. The best thing I found was a story about a boy and a girl, and about how their lives found meaning when they were apart. She went to exquisite places alone, and found peace among her personal solitude. The boy found that there was a world larger than what he had ever expected full of beauty and mystique, but that every beautiful thing reminded him of her. When they finally got back together, the boy took her hand and asked her to marry him, that way whenever they were apart, they were always together. The problem with this story is the happy ending.
I found meaning for my life before I met you, and when you left, I felt a piece of my meaning go with you through our front door. I'll never forgive you for that.
