You don't need a better half to mean something. You aren't defined by your marital status or your sexuality or how many people you've slept with. You choose by what you define yourself and there is no wrong choice, but there is a naïve one. What a selfish thought that someone exists with the sole purpose of making you happy. You can't find happiness exclusively in other people. You need to make yourself happy. You need to be your own soulmate.
