I got home and was just about to change out of my spandex and t-shirt when the doorbell rang. Damn. Oh well he'll just have to deal with sweaty me.

I opened the door and there was sweaty Ashton. Well that makes things less icky for myself.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Brooke! Who is it?"

"Ashton!"

"Why?"

"None of your business!"

I grabbed his hand and dragged him up to my room. "Okay what are we going to do?" I asked.

"I've been thinking and I think I have a solution, but it requires talking to...her."

"No! We can't! It's too risky!"

"We have to."

"But she always has such a high price!"

"I know, but we may just have to pay it."

"Well tell me your plan first. Maybe we can work 'her' out of it."

"Well what I want to happen is find out where Nicole goes after school on Tuesdays and where her house is."

"Why?"

"So where ever she goes we can keep her distracted with Tyler's help, and she obviously has the doll, so naturally she'll keep it in her room right? I mean we're too much of a threat at school. She wouldn't want us to steal it back."

"But we are stealing it back."

"Yes but she won't expect it."

"So we're going to do all this tomorrow."

"Yep."

"Have you talked to tyler."

"Yeah, he's game for anything that has to do with distracting a cute girl."

"True. So while he's distracting her we'll sneak into her room?"

"Yeah."

"Isn't that bordering creepy?"

"Brooke, you have a choice, sneak into her room and steal back the doll, or get suspended and have her win."

"Let's do this!"

"That's what I thought."

"So we have to ask 'her' what Nicole does, and where her house is?"

"Yeah."

"But she'll make the price higher."

"Well we'll have to pay it."

"I don't like this."

"You do realize it's our own fault."

"Yes thank you."

"So tomorrow you have to skip volleyball practice and I have to skip football practice."

"But you have a game on Friday."

"So. I'll make up the time on Wednesday."

"Okay that works."

"See I'm a good boyfriend! I'm trying to help you."

"I never said you were a bad boyfriend!" I said laughing.

"I know I'm just saying."

"Fishing for compliments!"

"No!"
