"You fools," Graves accused. "do you realize what you've done?"
Newt pulled Celeste into a hug in silence.
"The obscurial was killed on my orders, Mr. Graves." President Picquery said.
"Yes, and history will surely note that, Madam President. What was done here tonight was not right."
"He was responsible for the death of a no-maj. He risked the exposure of our community, he has broken one of our most sacred laws!"
"A law that, has us, scuttling like rats in the gutter. A law that demands that we conceal our true nature, a.."
Graves continued complaining, and Celeste zoned him out. It was a disaster. The muggles all saw what had happened, there was no way the government could Obliviate them all.
But worst of all, Credence was gone.
"I ask you, Madam President," Graves continued speaking. "I ask all of you, who does this law protect? Us, or them?"
Silence.
"I refuse to bow down any longer."
"Aurors, I'd like you to relieve Mr. Graves of his wand, and escort him back." A shield appeared in front of Graves, blocking him from leaving as he walked away.
He seemed to contemplate a moment before giving a small nod and turning back to look at the aurors and the President. And, a look of determination on his face, he walked straight toward the President and blocked every attack being thrown at him. Getting closer, he managed to attack a few people as well as block the attacks, and, for a fraction of a second, Celeste wondered how she was able to perform the Impediment Jinx on someone this skilled at magic.
Newt had let go of Celeste, and threw the Swooping Evil straight at Graves, and the Swooping Evil seized him by the arms, forcing him to kneel down.
"Accio!" Tina yelled, summoning Graves' wand from him.
The three climbed onto the platform and neared a panting Graves, and Graves, looking like he was hiding something, raised suspicion in Celeste as she pulled out her wand and pointed it straight at Graves.
"Revelio." She muttered, looking as Graves turned around in panic and tried to calm himself down. His hair turned blonde, his entire face morphing into someone well-recognized by the wizarding world.
President Picquery neared the wizard, who looked up and smiled at her.
"Do you think you can hold me?" The famous dark wizard whispered.
"We'll do our best, Mr. Grindelwald."

"We owe you an apology, Mr. Scamander." President Picquery said, looking at the hole they had created underground. "The magical community is exposed. We cannot Obliviate an entire city."
"Actually," Newt opposed. "I think we can."
Everyone turned to look at him, including Celeste. Newt placed his case on the floor and made a strange cawing sound, standing back and waiting as if expecting something, until another cawing sound returned and Frank, Newt's thunderbird, flew out of the case and appeared in front of the wizards and witches.
"I was intending to wait until we got to Arizona," Newt explained, staring in admiration at the bird. "but it seems that you're our only hope Frank."
Newt looked at Frank for a moment, before stepping forward and stroking his beak.
"I'll miss you too." He whispered, and Celeste smiled as Newt pulled out a glass vial containing a glowing blue liquid.
