Playing the Part
To keep myself from seeming like I was a lost kitten I began walking to the car, but before I could step off the sidewalk Jeremy grabbed my arm and pulled me back to him.
“Why the hurry? It’s only 3.” I moved my head back to see the smile on his face and sighed.
“I didn’t know you had a boyfriend Jordy!” Lauryn smiled at Jeremy without glancing at me.
I dared not look at his face. “I don’t we’re just friends.” The look on she gave me made me confused until I realized how we were standing before pulling his arms away from me. Still I dared not look at his face.
“Well we’re leaving.” Liv waved walking away with Nathaniel and Evie before I turned back to see Nicole getting in the car with her brother. I took this as my opportunity to leave and pulled Jeremy in the direction of the car.
“We’ll we’re gonna go.” I smiled at her and avoided looking at Avery before walking to the car and getting in. I watched Jeremy as he got in and started the car before he glanced at me.
“What?”
“Still the same Jordy.”
“Is that a compliment?”
“I don’t know.” He smiled once again making me turn my body towards the window. I just wanted to enjoy the ride in his car that I’d always loved. He got it after his granddad died from the money he’d been left in the will. His mom had been against it, but his dad said it was his way of coping. All I know is that I loved it, but always forgot the name and if I asked him he’d be a smartass about it.
“What kind of car s this again?”
“Jesus people in this world I tell you. They don’t recognize greatness when they see it.”
See.
“Forget I asked.” I looked back out the window as he laughed and told me it was a Kia K900. I’d always loved black cars so this only added to my love for his car. I’d never tell him this though knowing him he would use it against me in some shape or form.

“Really Jeremy?” We had just pulled up to the ice-cream shop and I realized it was where I worked during the week and on the weekends. I laid my head on the window and kept my seatbelt on as the driver’s door opened and I heard him step out.
“C’mon you’re not working.”
“Yea, but I don’t want to sit there and have my co-workers look at me.” I jerked back suddenly feeling the door open and held my breath as he leaned over me and unbuckled my seatbelt. He moved to stand back up, but stopped in front of my face and smiled. It took everything in my body not to show him how this was affecting, so I moved my eyes from his and pushed him back slightly.
“I knew I’d get you to see it my way.”
“Yea yea.” He laughed from behind me before brushing pass me to open the door.
“After you Princess.”

Weak
I had been crying and crying for weeks
How'd I survive when I could barely speak?
Barely eat, on my knees
But that's the moment you came to me
I don't know what your love has done to me
Think I'm invincible
