~Chapter four~

(Just to clear up some confusion: I wanted to say that the '???'s pov' in the last chapter were multiple different people. The first one was Lukas, and the second one was Harper. I really sorry if that confused you guys, but I'm still going to keep ???' Povs separated. Remember to look for details in them!)

???'s POV
How.... how am I going to get out of this one?
I'm here with a monster that I created in the first place.... working as a slave and catering to his every need.
When will this end?
It seems just when the New Order settles down.... thinks get turned upside down once more.
I.... I wish... that I could just do something... to help them.
Jess' POV:
They haven't checked on us in days.
I... haven't even seen Lukas.
I don't know if he's alive- or if he's... if he's...
The door opened, making me jump slightly.
I saw Lukas and Petra walk in, their swords drawn.
"You two are weak and defenseless." Growled Petra, her sword shaking slightly. "Come with us, and save yourselves the pain."
I stared at Lukas, his red eyes showing no emotion.
They.... they're still in there. I.. I know they are!
"Lukas, I-"
"Come with us, Jess." He spat, cutting off my sentence.
Were we going to be chipped?
If so... who would stop PAMA?
Who would stop him from using us to do his dirty work?
"Fine." Growled Jesse, walking to Petra.
She grabbed his shoulder; forcing him to face the door.
She put the blade of her sword against the back of his neck, pushing him along as they walked through the door.
Lukas faced me, his face still wiped of emotion.
"Go." He hissed, pointing to the door.
I looked at him one last time before I left, seeing a single red tear fall down his face.
Time Skip: Jesse's POV
"Ahh... welcome, Jesse. And Jessica." Purred PAMA, his human body still alarming me. "I'm glad to see that you two have come to join the party."
I gritted my teeth, Petra's blade sticking into the back of my neck.
We walked up the steps, seeing the townspeople below.
Some had red eyes... but others...
Others.... had black eyes.
Dark, empty eye sockets that glowed with white  dots in the middle.
They.... looked even more emotionless that the useful townspeople.
Something.... isn't right about these people.
I don't know what.... but something about them just makes me feel...
"You're going to make us useful, aren't you?" Croaked Jess, tears starting to fall down her face.
PAMA smirked, and I saw a glistening metal machine in the center of the platform we were on.
"...Yes."
I felt two pairs of hands grab me, and I heard Jess scream.
Jess' POV:
Harper and Ivor grabbed ahold of my brother, and I screamed, feeling hands hold me back.
They pulled him to the machine, holding him still despite his efforts.
The only thing that makes this worse....
Is the fact that Harper didn't have red eyes.
She.... is working for him.
I saw the machine lower, and a bright red light emanate from the device as it fell over Jesse's head.
He screamed one last time, and then... he stopped.
It was as if someone had simply pressed pause on a video.
The machine rose upward, my red-eyed brother switching places with Petra to make me useful.
"LUKAS!" I screeched, trying to pull away from them. "JESSE!"
I still struggled as they held me under the machine.
I heard the whirr of gears and zapping sounds of what could only be electricity-
And I panicked.
I screamed louder than I ever have, the rock hard grip of the two people I cared about most keeping me from fleeing in fear.
"SOMEONE! HELP ME!" I screamed.
The machine lowered over my head-
Except this time...
It didn't stop.
PAMA's POV:
Jessica screamed one last time, and then it was cut short.
A warm feeling started to spread inside me...
Until I felt my head grow fuzzy.
It hurt so bad- and all I could see were spots.
Am I controlling them any more?!
Have they escaped?
Are they escaping right before my very eyes?!
....no.
Cassie wouldn't let that happen. She'd hunt down those humans.
Lukas's POV:
It was as if I opened my eyes.
I... could move.
At my own will.
I looked around, feeling like I was in a daze.
I saw PAMA... looking like he was shorting out.
I turned and saw a... A portal.
It.... it's the redstone portal. H-how we got here... it's right there...
I looked at my friends...
And saw that all of their eyes were red.
Jesse's, Petra's...
Jess'.
I saw PAMA regain his functionality, and I looked back to the portal.
I was the only one who could save one of us. Maybe buy us some time.
Maybe warn the others.
Who.... do I choose??
I saw PAMA smirk, and I thought of my instant choice.
Running in the direction of my friends, i knew who I would take with me.
I would take-
