Days passed like wind and soon I was in the top 16

"OK (Y/N), win this one and you will be in the Quarter Finals" Iris said

"Yes then you will pass Preliminaries" May said

"Yes then you will play 6 vs 6" Iris said

I then ran towards the field

"The one who wins this will be out of the Preliminaries and into the Quarter Finals Top 8" The announcer said

I rolled my eyes

"Start!" The referee announced

"Go Dugtrio!" Mitch said 

"Go Chandelure!" I said

"Dugtrio use Dig!"

"Chandelure use Hex!"

But the Dugtrio dodged it

"Dugtrio come up and use Stone Edge!"

"Chandelure!"

Chandelure got hurt

What's happening! I'm being slowed down as if I don't want to win!

"Chandelure use Inferno!"

"Dugtrio Mud Shot!"

The move clashed causing smoke

"Chandelure now! Will O' Wisp!"

Dugtrio got burned

"Great! Now use Inferno!"

"Dugtrio use Mud Shot!"

But the burn made his attack weal

"Dugtrio!"

"Chandelure now finish with Hex!"

Since he was burnt the power of Hex doubled and he fainted

"Go, Dodrio!"

Does he only have 3 faced Pokemon?

"Chandelure use Will O' Wisp!" 

"Dugtrio dodge and use Drill Peck!"

The Dugtrio was fast

"Chandelure dodge!" 

But he got hit

"Chandelure now use Inferno!"

I had to limit my moves since Dugtrio was normal type making it more difficult for me

"Dugtrio dodge and use Foresight!"

"What!?" 

"Now finish with Tri-Attack!"

Chandelure fainted

"You did well . . . Go Gastrodon!" I said

I had both West Sea Gastrodon and East Sea Gastrodon

This one was West Sea

"Dugtrio use Tri-Attack!"

"Use Muddy Water!"

My Gastrodon was very strong so it surpassed the Tri-Attack and damaged Dugtrio

"Now use Stone Edge!"

 "Dugtrio dodge!"

But he was't able too

"Now finish with Mud Shot!"

Dugtrio fainted

"This is my final but strongest! Magneton!"

Huh?

Why did he used an Electric and Steel type against a Ground type

Well he is in the Top 16 so no jokes

"Gastrodon come back!" I said withdrawing her "Go Gastrodon!"

This time I used my East Sea Gastrodon

"Magneton  use Iron Defense!"

"Gastrodon Muddy Water!"

"Tri-Attack!" 

The move clashed

This Magneton was seriously strong

"Gastrodon use Rock Blast!"

"Looks like you don't have some Ground type moves, Magneton use Thunderbolt!"

The move clashed

"Gastrodon use Sandstorm!"

"Magneton is Steel Type!" 

"But Gastrodon is ground Type!"

"What!?"

"Gastrodon use Mud Bomb!"

Gastrodon's ability Sand Force increased the power of Sand Bomb

"Magneton!"

Magneton fainted

"Winner of the match is (Y/N)!"

"Yay!" I cheered "In top 8!"

I then went back to the audience's seat to see Ash's match and sat beside Iris

<Time Skip>

Well he won, but I'm not surprised

Me and Iris then went out

"Where's May?" I asked

"After you won she went back to the Center since she did't wanted to see Ash's match" Iris said

"See I won!" We heard Ash saying

"Big deal!" I said

"Yeah yeah, I'm waiting for the match WE both will have a battle, and I'm gonna crush you" He said

"Ash are delusional?" Iris asked

We both laughed

"Ash I'm not what you think I'm" I said "I'm not made of glass unlike Serena who get's hurt even with a slight touch, I'm not shy liker her"

As I said she is a pageant queen who likes fashion and being WAY too delicate

"Oh really at least, she is better than YOU!" He said

Well that hurts

"Based on her sensitivity level, if I gave her one slap she would die" I said 

We both laughed

"I'm Not Such An Innocent Girl!" I said

He then walked away without a word

"Let's go" Iris said and pulled me by the hand

If you touch me I won't break

I must do something for her, maybe she is still in for Ash

Well it not looks like

But at least I could make Ash understand that not to criticize her always
