The two walked towards one another, and stopped at a good three feet from each other. They looked up and down the length of their copy. They were completely identical; from the having the same wavy brown hair, same brown eyes, same caramel skin tone, to the same lab coat over the same blue dress, and both barefoot on the cold cement floor.

"Oh God! How did I?... Why?" Both Carla's wined.

They began to slowly circle around each other, still scanning their bodies for any differences.

"Hm, let's see." They both began.

"Same clothes..." One Carla noted aloud.

"Same Voice.." The other said.

"Same hair.." One called out.
"Same eyes.." The other noted.

"Oh God, the same.." One began.

"Black nail polish on the hands.." The other picked up.

"And even on the feet?!" One Carla called amazed, pointing at her double's toes.

The two stopped circling each other, and stood in front of one another, both with one hand on the hip, and the other lightly pinching the chin.

"This is unbelievable." One Carla said amazed.

"Surreal even." The other Carla added.

Both Carla's rested the other hand on their hip.

"You're exactly like me. You're like my clone!" Carla exclaimed, pointing at her double.

Her double frowned. "First, I think I am you, second, I'm not you're clone sister." She argued.

"Don't call me sister!" Carla ordered.

"Then what do I call you? Me? Clone?" The other Carla argued back.

"I'm not a clone! You are!" Carla exclaimed.

The two frowned at each other.

The other Carla sighed. "Look, I don't think either of us are clones... It looks like the teleporter just teleported half of us, and recreated the other half in both pods." She reasoned.

"Resulting in one Carla walking out of each pod... It does make sense." Carla figured.

The other Carla chuckled. "Of course it does, you thought of it. Now the real question is, what are we going to do about this?" She asked.

Carla smiled. "Well, we could try to merge back with the teleporter, but I don't even think that's possible..." Carla said.

"Yeah, I agree uuh...me. Maybe we can merge back if we apply enough pressure, then maybe our atoms will reunite us into one person!" Carla's duplicate said excitedly.

Carla frowned at her other self. "I don't think that'll work me. It looks like our atoms are already whole." She explained.

The other Carla scratched the back of her head. "Yeah, I know but...you never know until you know." She reasoned.

Carla shrugged. "I guess..."

The two Carlas wrapped their arms around each other, and began to press as much of their bodies together as possible. They awkwardly pressed their cheeks together, and well as chests, their legs, and stepped on each other.

"Do you feel anything?" Carla's double asked.

"Other than you stepping on me, and your boobs chocking mine, no." Carla said, feeling annoyed.

The two then let go of each other.

"I don't think we can merge back, me..." Carla's double said sounding defeated.
