"Good morning miss Gail we are thanking you for coming here in our show." The host of the show uttered in glee para itong buwaya na nacorner ang gusto nitong kainin, who wouldn't be? Tiyak gusto lang nitong gawing lunch ang mga impormasyon tungkol sa aking buhay.
"It's my pleaure Rina." I said with cold voice ayaw ko na kasing patagalin pa itong pag-uusap na ito wala naman akong makukuha kundi panibago at sari-saring opinyon ng ibang tao.
Nakita ko naman na nagulat ang host sa aking kakaibang inasal pero I don't care.
"Ahmm miss G-Gail we will ask you a few question an-" I cut her in her midsentence nakakapagod makinig. Pinapahaba pa e' iisa lang naman ang kahahantungan.
"Go ahead." I know that I am intimidating this host in front of me but I don't need to care sila ang nag-patawag sa'kin na pumunta rito.
For me the exposure would be an advantage pero more than that ay wala na.
"A-hmm yeah okay ito na. So Miss Gail we are intrigued by your generosity of helping those organizations and orphanage." Kita mo naman pati iyon ay gagawin pang big deal, hindi naman na kailangan pa sabihin ang mga naitulong ko e' it was a genuine act na gusto ko talagang gawin para sa ibang nangangailangan.
Are they questioning my voluntary act of extending help?
"Tell me Miss Rina Is there someone who wanted to sue me for helping the people who are in need?" I asked and I saw that the host was shock with my words.
Oo masyado na siguro akong prangka magsalita pero ano magagawa ko kung ito na ako ngayon?
I don't need to talk so much and let other people judge me. At ayaw ko rin masyadong magpakita ng kahinaan na hindi man lang makapagsalita dahil baka tapakan lang ako.
"Ahmm- n-no-" Hindi ko na ito pinatapos magsalita at natingin ako ng deretso sa mga mata nito.
"I help those organizations because I am like those individuals who are once in need, and I don't have a family who can help me, but because of my bestfriend I've been able to stand on my own and also Jacob who is now in heaven who treated me as his own daughter even though we are not blood related." I said still in cold voice pero ramdam ko naman ang bawat salitang sinasabi ko, totoo naman lahat e' kung hindi dahil sa mga tumayo bilang pamilya ko kahit hindi kami magkadugo ay baka hindi ako mapupunta rito sa kinatatayuan ko ngayon.
"Ahh yes I'm sorry for that, Jacob is really a good man I met him twice and that man is an angel." Said by the host and I can't help but smile a little. Yes he is a good man wala talaga itong pinipiling tao na tutulungan at maswerte ako na isa ako sa mga pinagkatiwaan nito.
"It's okay next question please Rina." Napakurap ito at mabilis na napatingin sa hawak nitong card kung saan andoon lahat ng mga katanungan.
"Ahh yes sorry. Ahmm your 29 years old and you adopted a child age 7 years old and last month it was already approved and now the child is living with you but do you still have intention to settle down now that you have a child?"
"No I don't have any intention to settle down and right now I am focusing myself for my company not only here in New York but also in other countries because I want to make Jacob proud and also to give my daughter Alexia a good life."
"Oh no sorry boys." Makahulugang sambit ng host na may kasamang tawa kaya ngumisi lamang ako.
Sa totoo lang wala na talagang halaga sa'kin ang mga lalaki, ang mahalaga na lamang sa'kin ay ang aking sarili at ang aking anak ayaw ko na pumulot ng kahoy para ipalo sa sarili ko sa bandang huli.
