As time goes by, Xiumin growing up inside their house, only going outside when Chen wants to
Chen frequently visited Xiumin but there were times when he couldn't visit at all
And one of those days were today
Xiumin all curled up inside his blankets while looking out in the window as snow falls silently
Christmas is coming soon in a couple of days and this will be the first Christmas he will spend alone
His parents left to go on a vacation and he opted to stay at home and spend the Christmas with Chen
But with the younger not visiting him always like he used to, he's starting to doubt that he'll come celebrate Christmas with him aswell
After a couple of hours just laying on his bed and staring off into space, he finally decided to get out of his room
He went down the stairs and into the kitchen to grab something to eat
Luckily his parents restocked the whole kitchen before leaving
He grabbed a bag of chips and 2 cans of soda before walking towards the living room where the television is waiting for him
He sits down on the big red couch and grabbed the remote control before turning it on and flipped through the Channels
He stopped flipping through the channels when the news caught his attention
"Recently, an accident happened near the Han River. It was reported that a family was inside the car driving when a truck came to collision with theirs and fell off the bridge.
There were 4 bodies found, one was from the driver of the truck who survived the crash, but the other 3 persons involved in the crash didn't survive.
These 3 were the following persons: Kim Jongna, who was the driver, His wife Kim Jinyaeng and their son Kim Jong---"
He wasn't able to finish when the lights suddenly turned off along with all the electronics in the house
The whole room became pitch black with only the moonlight from outside the window as it's source of light
This made the boy scared and run towards his room
Quickly getting under the covers and closing his eyes tight
He tried to calm down and steady his breaths when he heard the main door from below open
The boy cursed under his breath and was visibly shaking when the sound of footsteps came nearer and nearer from where he is
His eyes were getting teary and his heart beating uncontrollably but stopped when he heard a familiar voice call out to him
"Minseok hyung?"
It was Chen
Quickly, he dashed out of his room and bumped into something, or someone
He groaned and opened his eyes and saw Chen sitting on the floor while rubbing his head
"Ah Xiumin hyung! You should watch where you're--" Chen didn't get to finish what he said when the older boy suddenly put him in a bone crushing hug
"Chen! I-I was so scared!! D-Dont leave me alone!!" The older cried and hugged the other tightly
"Don't be scared hyung, I'm here and I won't leave you" Chen said softly as he rubbed circles on the olders back
They stayed like that for a couple of minutes until soft snores were heard
Chen carried the sleeping Xiumin to his bed and tucked him in
He was about to leave when a hand stopped him
"Don't leave me... Please stay with me until Christmas" Xiumin muttered as he looked at Chen with puppy eyes
Chen smiled at him and layed down next to him and wrapping his arms around the older
"Ok hyung.. I'll stay with you until Christmas" He said and kissed the olders forehead
"Thank you"
