"Damien should be here any minute now," Gigi said, checking the time on her phone.

"Well, he's late," Riley responded when a few minutes had passed and nothing had happened.

Right on cue, we heard a knock on the front door and, giving us a look, Kane exited the room to go let Damien Hunt in. I stood up from my seat as soon as Hunt entered the room with Kane behind him.

"I hope you all have trained as much as possible for this," Hunt remarked. "Does everyone have their weapons?" He nodded, even though no one gave any response. Turning his back to us, he started to lead us outside to the waiting cars.

"Wait," Finn told Hunt, and the man stopped walking and looked at him expectantly.

"We need a map of all the places this killer has attacked. You promised us all the information you can give. Time for you to honor that promise."

Nodding, the director complied. "Get me that map from over there," he ordered, pointing at a world map hanging on the wall.

Ripping it from the wall, Jaxon slapped it down in the table and unrolled it as it threatened to roll in on itself. With a pen from his pocket, Damien began marking up the map with all of the places that had been compromised already.

"So where was the most recent attack?" Kane asked from behind Hunt.

"Just outside of Barcelona, Spain," Riley read to us off the map Hunt was marking up.

"So we go there," Arlo confirmed.

"The ONNT will pay for your plane tickets," Hunt informed us, not looking up from his map.

"Damn right, you will," Jake muttered under his breath. I nearly jumped; I hadn't known he was there until he spoke.

Folding up the map, Jaxon uttered, "Okay, get the suitcases and lets go."

With Kane and Arlo pulling the two suitcases we had put a few blankets in to cover up our weapons in, we all filed outside. In the driveway, there were two of the same black vans that had kidnapped me the other day.

I realized that I wasn't the only one who'd been taken by force when Arlo said drily, "It's so great to see the same vans that they kidnapped me in are now the ones we're voluntarily getting in now."

I ended up in the first car with Riley, Gigi and Finn and some random driver I assumed was with the ONNT.

Before the driver rolled up his window, Hunt instructed through the open window, "Take them to JFK International."

As we pulled out and onto the street, no one had said anything outright, but I wondered what would happen if we simply decided to walk out the front gates without running it by Hunt first. Would I be drugged and thrown back into the confines within the gates? Or maybe just considered a danger to society? The disastrous attempt to escape the compound had already provided some insight to how problems like that were going to be handled by the ONNT.

After we'd pulled away from the driveway and had been driving for a while, Riley broke the silence. "So," she began. "Since we're going to be here a while, tell me about yourselves."

"Well, what do you want to know?" Gigi asked her quietly, folding her hands on her lap.

"I don't know, what are your hobbies?"

Finn scoffed. "That's the best question you could come up with?"

Riley turned around in her seat to meet Finn's eyes with her own black ones. "Fine, Peterson, be my guest if you want to sit in awkward silence this whole trip."
