Aaand take your partners by the hand,

Bow to the farmer who owns the land.

Doce doe with the farmer’s wife,

She’s given him twenty five years of strife.

Kick your neighbour who stole your pig,

Step to the side and do the sore leg jig.

Follow my leader two by two,

Trip over the laces of an untied shoe.

Smile at the milkmaid all serene,

She’ll give you extra helpings of cream.

Nod to your neighbour, he hates your guts,

So up and knee him in the n –ether region.

Bow to the farmer who owns the farm,

Promenade his wife on your arm.

Doce doe with the farmer’s daughter,

Don’t do what you didn’t augh ter.

Nod to her brothers lined up at the bar,

They’ll see you don’t get far.

Up the middle and twirl her back,

Of pretty girls there is no lack.

Swing your neighbour round then stop,

The next couple will now lead the hop.

Aaand take your partners by the hand,

Bow to the conductor of the band.

Down the outside all descend,

Form back up and we’ve reached the end.
