Jack is sitting on the edge talking aimlessly to Rory about Lily but is stopped mid-sentence by his question,
"Say that again?"
"Why do you think more men commit suicide than women?" Rory asks raising his eyebrows. Jack furrows his brow in concentration but the question has thrown him off his mind set,
"Because...men aren't as good at expressing their emotions?" Jack answers hesitantly and Rory nods his head,
"You've hit the nail on the head in the simplest way. I hate it when aunt talks about how I don't need to speak to a therapist and they cost but trust me buddy, keeping it all in here-," Rory taps the side of his temple, "is soul destroying."
"Yeah, we've had a couple of talks about suicide in our classes," Jack shrugs his shoulders blasé,
"That's why when your friends are going through something you need to be there and help them express their emotions. Women statistically suffer from depression than men however are better at expressing their emotions which may be the reason for lower suicide rates," Rory continues shifting his weight on the bed,
"I'll keep that in mind," Jack nods, his mind flitting rapidly to Connor and his family.
