If We Ever Meet Again. ( Exo Chanyeol Fanfiction )

Total Blackout.

I had a massive headache.. All I could remember was.. coming back home, shocking myself with the fact of Nick leaving .. leaving everything left in place. The second thing that popped into my mind was.. Chanyeol.. Why was he with that unknown girl anyways?

Someone was calling me..

I looked at the caller ID and saw Nick's name.

" Hello?" I managed to say..

" Babe?"

The way he called me made me feel so calm.. It was like nothing actually happened the night before.

" Yes?.. Yes.. I'm here.. " I felt like bursting into tears but it might just freak him out.

" I'll be back okay? "

" Where are you anyways?" I asked, really wanting to know.

" I'm er... - " His line got cut off.

I don't know if it was on purpose or accidental.

A few minutes later.. Chanyeol texted me.

I wasn't expecting anything from him but ... I guess he wanted to explain.

Meet me at Cookie's Bakersway at 2.

I looked at the time and saw it was already 1.30.

I rushed to the place..

Walked into  the cafe and saw Chanyeol who was oblivious of my existence for a few seconds.

" Chanyeol?" I tapped on his shoulder.

With his sleepy eyes.. he turned to look at me and immediately stood up.

" Hey.. I just.."

" Wanted to explain huh?"

" Yea.." He kind of smiled..

" What happened last night? Did you...-"

" Don't jump into conclusions.. I was just helping that girl .. I was walking..-"

" In the middle of the night!?!? What were you thinking!?"

" I was thinking of you." He shut me up with his words.

I looked down to my fingers..

But he continued...

" I saw her bleeding terribly .. Someone must have stabbed her there.."

I looked at him but he looked away .. yet still continuing the story.

" She was in pain but she begged me not to bring her to the hospital or help her any further.. I was wanting to go near her, to help her but she kept on shouting and backing away from me.. That's when you came and saw what happened.."

" So it wasn't anything right? Why did she want no help ?"

" She wasn't happy with her life but I had to help her. I called my friends who are on night shift at the hospital so they took her."

" Okay so.. Last night.. Was nothing right?"

" Nope.. Why? Are you okay?"

" I'm fine.."

He didn't say a thing... just looked at me and held my hands , placing them on the table.

" What did he do?"

He knew better.

" Nick's been acting weird, I'm just scared he might be cheating? But I know he wouldn't. He just wouldn't. "

" Anything fishy lately?"

" Our fight.. But later he's coming back. "

" I'll wait up with you.."

" Maybe you shouldn't."

" Maybe I ... just want to be with you."

No. Chanyeol. Not now.

" But what I said..the other day.."

"Doesn't mean anything to you."

" How did you know?"

He kissed my cheek and said.." How much more should I know about you? "

I smiled... But still...felt guilty, as I was technically cheating on my fiance.

....

We were both at my dining hall.

" He's coming back now?"

" Yea.. and you should go before he comes."

" Hmm.. okay.." He sighed.

.....

We were sitting together on the couch, hand in hand.

" Never miss me eh?" He giggled.

" I know you'll come around.." I laughed.

He hit my forehead gently with his and said.." You bet."

Suddenly... the doorknob turned.. The sound of someone coming in.

" Its Nick!" I whispered to Chanyeol but in an afraid tone.

"Babe?"

" Nick, emm... hold on.." I yelled, trying to sound as casual as possible.

" Are you alone?" He asked , he stopped twisting the knob.

" Er yes. Why'd you ask?"

" There's Chanyeol's shoes here."

I remained silent as I looked at Chanyeol.

" ARE YOU ALONE!?!!!!"

He shouted and I almost felt the door could fall with the vibration of his tone.

I kept quiet.

The doorknob kept turning... turning.... turning... till suddenly..

It stopped.

" Nicky?"

" Nick, you there?" I asked.. now being close to the door.

BLACKOUT

" Chanyeol!" I shouted.

Chanyeol quickly held my hands. I could feel his arms beside mine.

A voice..

" So... you weren't alone then."

" Nick?" I called.

" All this while.. He was the one you're in love with..."

The voice became clearer and clearer.

" All this while.. I should've known."

With that last sentence...

" Ahhhhhh! " Chanyeol screamed in pain.

" Chanyeol! Where are you!? What happened?"

" Someone just stabbed me!!!" He continued to scream and scream.

"I'm not leaving you! Where's your cell?" I was panicking.

" I left it at home, where's yours?"

" It's in my car!"

We really couldn't do anything .. or move any steps further, it was a total blackout.
