"Is Vanessa at the venue already?" Laura asked her husband as she tied her hair in a fashionable bun. Her husband, Andrew, nodded his head while tying his tie. "Yeah, Juliet took her there already."

"And what about Lauren?" Laura asked after she was done with her hair and had moved on to strapping the shoes on her feet.

Juliet and Lauren were Vanessa's bridesmaids and had already left for the venue. Blake and Scarlet had left first in the morning, to go check up on the venue and to pay the old flower lady for her services.

"Oh, that is a bit too much for a little work like this." The old woman spoke as she stared at the large amount of money in Scarlet's hand that was outstretched for the old lady.

"Are you kidding me, this is looking so beautiful!" Blake exclaimed in excitement and Scarlet chuckled before agreeing. "Yes, he has a point, and he rarely has those." Blake snapped out of his excited daze to glare at his cousin while the old woman smiled at the two.

The woman was staring at the two cousins on the verge of having a meaningless argument, when she noticed a flower peeking out of the breast pocket of Scarlet's suit.

"Ah, I think, I've found her secret lover." Both the cousins stopped their mindless quarreling to look at the woman in confusion.

"What?"

The old woman smiled at Scarlet, before she pointed at the flower that was peeking out innocently from her suit's breast pocket. "The Hydrangea symbolizes heart felt emotions."

The dark-haired woman looked down at the flower, before she stared at the woman, still in confusion. "And?"

"Nothing, it's a beautiful flower, isn't it?" Blake and Scarlet glanced at each other before the older cousin nodded her head, still confused of what the old woman wanted to say.

"Well, I think, I'll take my leave now." The woman spoke and Scarlet immediately handed the woman her payment, before she could refuse it again.

The old woman smiled at Scarlet, a smile that meant that she knew something that Scarlet didn't know about.

After the woman, had left, the two walked away from the entrance of the beautifully decorated place and into the small room that was out of the sights of the guests and the groom.

The venue was decorated with the two flowers, roses and forget-me-nots. The aisle had rose petals leading from the entrance of the venue to the altar where the supporting pillars of the small arch like roof was decorated with forget-me-nots.

Since, the wedding was taking place not so far from the Payne house, Vanessa had agreed to change there instead of in the house.

"You look like a princess." Juliet commented with her hands clasped together and her eyes sparkling with excitement, as she looked at her older cousin in awe.

"Thank you, Jules." Vanessa smiled genuinely as she leaned forward to embrace her cousin in a loving hold. "Kevin better keep you like a queen." Vanessa chuckled as she broke the embrace and looked herself in the mirror that was on the wall.

"She's right, Vanessa. You look really beautiful." Lauren spoke as she stood awkwardly beside Juliet. Even though, Vanessa had been mean to her after the time they went to the flower shop, she could not help but to feel a little excited for her wedding.

Lauren still had no idea why Vanessa had picked her to be her bridesmaid alongside Juliet, but she wasn't completely complaining.

A pang of jealousy, though, crept up in her stomach and tried to make her sick.
