Reed's pov-

Telling him a portion of my life's story felt like a huge weight was lifted off my chest. I mean the only people I've ever trusted are dead so I need someone new. I just never realised it. We are headed to his house now. I'm a little nervous because I look like crap. Probably smell like it too...

"you ok?"

"Oh, uh, yeah I'm fine."

"Don't worry, everything's gonna be ok."

"I sure hope so..."

We arived at his house not long after. It was small and homely. As we walked up to his house I tugged on the ends of my backpack. He opened the door and showed me to his room. His mom walked in.

"Tanner who's your friend?"

"Mom this is my friend Reed. I was wondering if she could stay with us for a while."

"Oh of course she can stay with us. That's not a problem at all."

"Thank you Mrs. Fox you have no idea how much this means to me."

"Of course sweet heart, don't worry about it. Also I'm going out ill be back later."

"Ok bye"

"Bye!"
