"No way! (F/N)?!" A voice exclaimed waking you up making you sit up and rub your eyes

"Can it" You groaned out opening your eyes slightly before falling back on the bed making the pillows and sheets jump

"What're you doing here?! I thought you disappeared after the fall of Beacon!!" They went on rambling on about your disappearance

"Jaune," A calmer higher pitched voice called silencing the other "that doesn't matter, he's here and he's gonna stay with us!" They continued

With all the talking you couldn't go back to sleep so you sat up and forced your eyes to see Ruby and Jaune standing in front of the bed. You threw your legs over the side and stood up groggily gaining your balance.

"You OK (F/N)?" Jaune asked "You seem extremely tired" He continued some concern in his voice

"I'm fine..." You answered with a yawn "honestly it's the best sleep I've had in months." You said going through what little stuff you had before strapping your weapons into their holsters and onto your back before stretching and walking over to Ruby and placing an arm over her shoulder "Then again, I was sleeping with my little rose here." You added making her blush a little but smile nonetheless.

"(F/N) please!" She exclaimed pushing you away while laughing making both you an Jaune lightly laugh as well

You talked for a few minutes before setting deciding the head out for the day and begin helping them on their journey. As you left the room you quickly gave your greetings to Ren, whom you haven't seen in months prior, before you all got out and began walking the trail.

Soon enough you were all out of the town and on your way to Haven once again. Along the trail you had decided to catch up on what you'd all missed with each other. You learned about what they've come across so far and the difficulties they've faced and you told them you were hunting for information about the fall of Beacon and came across some familiar faces.

"So (F/N)," Ren asked making you tilt your head backwards to see him making a 'hm' noise "how exactly did you manage to find us?" He asked making the others look at you as you re-positioned your neck.

"Simple, I was in Higanbana for a while with my travel buddy and I saw you four checking into the inn across the street." You said with your eyes closed still walking

"Your travel buddy? You left them to meet with us?" Jaune asked looking away from the map in hand

"More along the lines of them telling me to go, they had more important things to do anyways." You answered "Don't worry about them, they're fully trained and could take on anything that could be thrown at them" You said before anyone asked

"Then who exactly are they?" Nora asked jumping on top of a fence, balancing herself on it.

"Well, um- What's that?!" You pointed out a nearby town that looked incomplete making them all draw their attention towards it.

"We should search for survivors!" Jaune ordered making you all begin sprinting towards the town and begin searching for any sign of survivors.

"Anything?" Ruby called out after a few minutes of searching

"Nothing over here!" Nora called from her position

"No one over here either" Jaune responded 

"I've got nothing!" You told them searching through some buildings before emerging back into the open

"It's almost seems as if this town was abandoned." Ren stated looking around before continuing the search as did everyone.

You all didn't search for long before Nora got your attention "Hey! I think I found something!"She called making you all rush over to it and look at the sign she had found. "Oniyuri? Never heard of it" She said placing her hands on her hips
