Chapter 7

Dark's POV

I looked at Drazz as we walked towards the food court in the same pace. Mahirap mang aminin pero napasaya nya ko ngayon. Will I lose? It makes me wonder.

I, then, roamed my eyes around the area and saw something that caught my attention. It's a stuffed toy, a panda at that. Napangiti ako. Should I ask him to get it for me?

Kinalabit ko sya at tinuro ang nakita. I smiled. "Can you play that for me?"

"You want that?" He asked, pertaining to the adorable panda stuffed toy. I immediately nodded.

Nginitian nya ako at hinila papunta sa stand, pagkatapos ay agad kinausap ang nagbabantay at pagbalik ay may dala-dala ng baril na bola ang bala. I laughed at the back of my mind. He's sweet, I give him that.

"Let's go?" He asked and grabbed my hand before I could even reply.

Nang tumapat sa stand ay tinutok nya ang baril sa mga standy na animo'y zombies. He shoot at them effortlessly. However, it doesn't surprised me. I mean.. It's not like I can't do that. Magtataka nga lang sya pag ako ang nagtry na makuha iyon. He'll definitely have suspicions so it's better this way.

Pagbalik sakin ay hawak na nya ang human size na panda. I plastered a flirty smile on my face and hugged it while looking at him in awe.

"Thanks babe!" I exclaimed, acting all soft as I walked ahead.

"Ano kayang ipapangalan ko sayo? hmm.." I whispered to my self, tho to my surprise, Drazz suddenly match my pace and encircled his strong arms in my waist.

"Name him Drix." He blurted out.

Kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa suggestion nya.

"Why Drix?"

"Short for Dark Phoenix."

I chuckled. "Masyado ka naman atang siguradong mahuhulog talaga ako sayo, Drazz."

"Give me enough time then, and you'll surely fall inlove with me."

I couldn't help myself but to smirk. Drazz is incapable of doing that and I'm as confident as he is. Hindi na ako nag salita pa at hinila nalang sya para kumain. Our reservation was fast acknowledged.

Bumalik kami sa table ng tahimik. I sat infront of him and placed the utensils infront of me, however, it seems like he couldn't stop himself from staring at me as I eat.

Binaba ko ang kutsarang hawak ko at tiningnan sya nang matiim.

"Is there any problem Drazz?" I asked. Umiling sya.

"Eh bakit ka nakatingin sakin?"

Drazz bit his lower lips. "Iniisip ko lang kung paano ka mahuhulog sakin."

He, then, caught my attention and made me ask– ask a certain question that have always crossed in my mind.

"Bakit ba gustong gusto mo makipaglaro sakin Drazz?" Diretso ang tinging tanong ko sakanya. He stared back at me, pagkatapos ay nagkibit balikat.

I heaved a sigh. Of course, he wouldn't tell me anything, bakit pa ba ko umasa?

PAGKATAPOS kumain ay sumakay na kami ng Ferris Wheel. May firework display daw kasi mamaya.

I immediately felt a strong pair of arms hugging me from behind as Drazz enclosed me in his grasp. Ibinaon nya ang mukha sa leeg ko at tila ba'y binibigay sakin lahat ng atensyon.

My mind wanders off. I think something is really bothering him right now but I can't seem to pinpoint his concerns. Hinawakan ko ang kamay nyang mahigpit na nakayakap sakin.

Kung hindi lang ako sanay sa ganito, who knows? Maybe I'd actually fall for him.

"May problema ba? You can talk to me." I whispered on his ears.

Umiling lang sya at mas lalo pa akong niyakap ng mahigpit. I heaved a deep breath.

Hindi na din nagtagal ay nagsimula na ang fireworks display. I looked at the sky in awe, and so I looked at this man beside me to see if he was sharing the same view with me –But to my surprise, he was doing nothing but looking at me.

I laughed. "Don't waste the view Drazz, it's too beautiful to be ignored."

He smiled. "You're better than any of the view here on earth Dark, Remember that."

He, then, leaned once again towards me as we kiss under the night sky and in unity with the fireworks.

A perfect definition of the right person and the wrong time...
