The Pain Behind Smiles [ Ken Kaneki × Reader ]

The Gourmet

      It was the Sunday and Kaneki went to meet Tsukiyama at the cafe. When he got there Tsukiyama was already there waiting for him. He sat down and was deep in thought about what he was told about half breeds and Rize.
      "Kaneki, Kaneki?" Tsukiyama said.
      "Oh, what?" Kaneki was out of his deep thought.
      "You seem a bit troubled." Tsukiyama had a look oh concern.
      "I'm fine, but you said you new Rize, so, what do you know about her? I want to know more about her." Kaneki wanted to get as much information about Rize as possible.
      "Well, I didn't know much about her, but we did hang out a lot. She was quite mysterious." Tsukiyama had a flashback of Rize. The flashback made him  mad. At this point he crushed the cup of coffee in his hand.
      "Are you ok? Here let me help you." Kaneki tried picking up the glass shard, but ended up cutting his finger.  "Ow." He was bleeding and Tsukiyama felt that this was the perfect time to collect a "sample" of Kaneki.
      "Oh I am so sorry! Let me help clean that up!"
      "No, its ok, I got it."
      "No Kaneki, I must clean the mess I made!" He draped a napkin over the cut and as soon as some blood was soaked into the napkin he took it into the bathroom, but he didn't want to be suspicious so he said a few last words to Kaneki. "I need to go to the bathroom, but later I could take you to one of Rizes favorite place to go."
      "Ok, thank you." Kaneki thought this was a great opportunity to get more information about Rize. Then he started thinking about y/n And why he wanted to know so much more about Rize than y/n. He felt very guilty and sad that he wasn't showing much of his love to y/n. 'I don't want her to leave me. What if she finds someone else who could give her the attention she needs? Will she leave me? Alright, as soon as I'm done with getting information about Rize, I'm going straight to y/n.' He thought to himself.
      After Tsukiyama came out of the bathroom from do his "business" they both went to a building that looked very classy. Tsukiyama had to go somewhere, but instructed Kaneki to shower. Kaneki found this weird but he did as he was told.
                           (Time skip)
       Kaneki was in this "arena" with thousands of people, well more like ghouls, watching him. Right in front of him was Tsukiyama on a balcony very high above him. Tsukiyama began to speak to the crowd and they all looked at Kaneki in amazement. Then Tsukiyama through the napkin with Kaneki's blood on it to the crowd. They all went crazy over his scent.
      "What are you doing?! Are you crazy?!" Kaneki was scared.
      Suddenly a big and buff ghoul man come out to fight Kaneki. He charged at Kaneki, but because of Yomo's training he was able to avoid the punch. However avoiding the attacks didn't last very long. He was able to hit the man, but it wasn't very effective. He was running away but then he slipped on a pile of blood and did something to his leg which made him unable to get up. Then he was kicked to the wall and the ghoul was waking towards him. He got caught, and he thought he was about to die.
      'No I can't die yet, I still haven't seen y/n! I should have spent every last second of my life with her! I will never get the chance to tell her that I love ever again. I won't be able to see her smile, I wont be able to hear her laugh, I wont be able to hear her voice. No, I will not give up! I have someone important to me that I have to see! I still need to protect her from Tsukiyama!' Suddenly his ghoul side took over. He was in rage, he didn't want to die, and definitely didn't want that sick bastard Tsukiyama laying a finger on y/n. He managed to slip out of the ghouls hand and attack him. Tsukiyama took quick notice of Kaneki's one eye and stopped the battle.
      Tsukiyama killed Kaneki's oponent and looked at Kaneki. "I hope you enjoyed that Kaneki, I certainly did." He said with a smirk on his face. Kaneki was in complete shock, he didn't know what to do. After he was sane he went back to Anteiku wearing a torn tuxedo while being all covered in blood.
      There he found y/n, he was so happy to see her. He would never leave her side again, especially not after what just happened.

Y/n POV:
      "Kaneki?! Are you ok?! What happened to you?!" I quickly went to him, I didn't care if I got blood all over myself! He was more important! I checked for any wounds, but it was worthless considering he could heal.
      "Yeah, I'm fine, I just had a little trouble with someone." Then Kaneki suddenly hugged me. "I'm so sorry y/n, I should have spent more time with you! Please don't leave me! I love you so much and don't forget that!"
      "I know you love me, how could I forget. I told you already I would stay with you forever from the beginning." I wrapped my arms around him and he wrapped his arms around my waist. It felt nice to be embraced by the person you loved. "Now, how about you go and clean yourself while I clean this mess. I'll clean myself after you."

I'm sorry I haven't had much Y/n's point of view very much. I promise to put more of it in the story.
