Joelle talked nonstop about getting her letter back i chuckled at her enthusiasm
Me:Jojo you realize your penpal is far away right so it might take days
Joelle:ughh i wish it was just come now
Then the doorbell rang i walked to the door opening it to see joelles teacher
Cathy:Good evening mr.anaoi im here getting a head start on giving out letters so since joelles penpal is closest then the rest i wanted to give hers early
Joelle squealed happily Cathy handed her the letter
Me:Thanks shes been very excited
Cathy:No problem heres the sending adress to deliver
Me;ok
Cathy left i shut the door looking at joelle reading her letter then she happily squealed again
Joelle:Daddy read this
She handed the letter to me i read it adeline sounded like a very nice person but what did she mean by get out of here?
Joelle:daddy are you gonna write this time adeline wants you to and we can mail it tonight
Me;Sure why not
Joelle handed me a paper and pencil and did the same for herself i sighed thought for a minute then wrote
      Dear Adeline,
Hi im the father of joelle I think its very nice of you to agree to penpal my daughter shes been very excited about it. Im glad she doesnt talk to alot of people which means your very special to her.I recently divorced my wife she was a bit devasted but im glad your her penpal she needs another woman figure to talk to but if i may ask what did you mean earlier in the letter by hoping you leave early?

I put my letter in an envelope stamping it and addressing it
Joelle:Im done daddy
I looked over joelles letter
          Dear Adeline,
Wow i hope to dye my hair one day my daddy wont let me.I'm gonna try to write you every day we can talk about alot of think hopefully be best friends.Maybe i can meet you one day my daddy likes the colors black and red too you two are like too speaking of my daddy he left my mommy so i won't see her again so im glad i can talk to you where do you live?How old are you?

I enveloped her letter labeling it and i took them out to the mailbox
Joelle:Daddy im glad we have a penpal
Me:Im glad too jojo
The next day
Joelle:daddy!!!Daddy!!! Wake up
Me;Jojo its saturday why should i
Joelle:We gotta check for a letter
Me:Jojo the letter wont come that fast
Joelle:Aww
Then she went back to her room
Later
2 pm
Adeline pov
Guard:Lynn!!
I shot up from my sleep glaring at the guard
Guard: you have mail
The guard handed me two peices of mail threw my cell i sat on my bed opening it the first one was from a joe i read over it smiling its from joelles father hes divorced how sad joelle must be devastated i opened joelles mail reading it and giggling i got pen and paper from a guard and wrote them both back
        Dear joe,
Hi joe nice to meet you im glad you and your daughter take the time to write me ive never had penpals before .Im really sorry about your divorce and hope you find a woman that can treat you right in the future Im glad im able to right little joelle.Also i don't mind you asking me and any questions but 5 years ago i was arrested because of something that wasn't even my fault i blame everyone who had something to do with it

       Dear joelle,
Well maybe you can be able to dye your hair when you get older he cant say no forever.I would love for us to be best friends i dont mind meeting you as long as its okay with you dad but I'm not sure if he would want you to im sorry about your parents recent divorce i hope everything turns out better.I live in Florida and im actually 24
