The next day

Joelle:Daddy!!Can we go now!!
Me:Go ahead jojo
I watched her as she ran outside to the mailbox then ran back in the house joelle handed me an evelope with my name on it and she kept the one with hers
Joelle:They are from Adeline see daddy i told you she rights back quick
I opened my letter reading it joelles penpal is an inmate but whatever it was wasnt her fault i wonder what happened
Joelle:Daddy Adelines in florida!!!
Me:Oh really
Joelle:Yes can we go see her
Me:Im not really sure joelle
Joelle:Please shes a nice girl
Me:I know it may sound like that but you just never know

Joelle glared at me she didnt believe a word i said she turned around storming upstairs into her room slamming the door
Me:Dont go around here slamming doors just because you cant get your way

Later
Guard:lynn lunch time
I walked out of my cell being escorted to the cafeteria i walked into the cafeteria sitting in a chair i didnt want that gross shit they are trying to give us i was minding my own business until some blonde chick walked up to me telling me to move
Me:Excuse me?
???:I said move
Me:No i was here first so I'm not moving
She sat her plate down
???:Do you know who i am
Me:I dont care who you are you walked up to me if you dont like the fact that im not moving beat my ass about it hoe
She sat down her plate and started cracking her knuckles i just stared

Me:Oh i didnt realize you were my mother
She swung at me i caught her fist pushing her back she fell to the ground she got up slapping me i grabbed her by the hair beating her ass then throwing her into the table officers grabbed me pulling me back
Guard:You've done it lynn to the shock chair
I sighed as i was escorted to the shock chair when we got there they pushed me in the chair locking my Arms and legs down then putting the cap on me the officer when to the switch cutting it on then a burning sensation ran threw my body as i screamed i had never been threw this much pain in my life then they cut off the switch i blacked out
2 weeks later
I stood in the kitchen watching Joelle on the couch very upset she hasn't heard from her penpal all week
Joelle:Daddy what if someone hurt her
Me:Jojo
Joelle:What if she's hurt really bad and I'll feel horrible about it cause you wouldnt let me visit her what if she's dead
Me:Joelle don't say that ok now go get ready for school i dont know what else to say at this point
Joelle:Theres nothing you can say
Joelle stormed upstairs i slipped on some shoes grabbing my keys getting ready to take joelle to school joelle came downstairs with her backpack walking right out the front door not saying a word to me i walked out to the car and we left
At joelles school
I pulled up joelle got out the car slowly walking in the school i sighed i don't know what to do shes been moping all week i cut the car off following joelle in she walked into her classroom i watched her from the doorway walk down her seat and layed her head on the desk the teacher looked at her then at me walking out into the hallway
Cathy:What's wrong with joelle
Me;Shes upset because she hasn't heard from her penpal in 2 weeks
Cathy expression turned to worried
Cathy:That's not like Adeline to do something like that unless she's gotten into trouble but even then she wouldve wrote back unless they shocked her in the chair that knocks her out like a light
Me:How do you know
Cathy:She's my daughter
My eyes widened
Cathy:Joelles been talking to ne about visiting her i talked to Adeline its completely fine with her we just need the okay from you
I looked at joelle at her desk crying
Me:I would but i dont think it's an ok time

Cathy:By the looks of it would make joelle really happy to meet her at least once i think you should too shes a nice girl maybe you two could get along
Me:Joelle suggested the same thing
