Part 25: Zander

Me and Amber head to our dorm and the boys get ready.

I start to do my make-up and put in my contacts, I walk out and see Amber in a white dress. I put on my clothes and feed Aniease.

"Did something happen with you and Ash?" Amber asks

"Um, no. Why?" I ask turning to her

"I kind of heard you guys talking last night." She said

"Oh, I was just talking about my ex." I say

"Okay." She says hooking in her earings "isn't that Zander guy coming today?" She asks me

"Yes, he is." I sigh nervously

"Are you finished?" She asked

"Yes." I say "I just hope he'll like it."

"Of course he will!" She says "now, let's go." She said grabbing my hand and dragging me out of our dorm. "Ash is going to have a nice little surprise." She smiles

"What do you mean?" I ask looking st her at our lockers

"With your big ass!" She whisper yells laughing

"Whatever." I say grabbing my books, I fix my bun making it messy and loose. Someone wraps their arm around my waist and I see Ash

"Hey." He says silently giving me a hug. Nate and Amber look at us

"What?" I say closing my locker "let's go." I grab Ash's hand and we start walking, Amber walks into Baxter's class and I hold Ash behind.

"What's wrong Elena?" He asks

"Do you remember what we talked about yesterday?" I asked

"No, I don't remember." He said

"Okay." I say looking down and licking my lips.

"Come on, let's go." He said walking into class and I walked behind him.

I sit in between Amber and Ash and Baxter comes in, he starts talking about literature. All of us write down notes and stuff.

I stay after class like Baxter told me to.

"Zander was so excited that he wanted to meet you, right now." Baxter said

"Uh, Professor?" I start but someone walks in and it's the same guy from at the hotel when I was trying to escape.

"I remember you!" He said happily giving me a hug, it felt awkward and he let go

"I remember you too." I say not looking at him

"You two know each other?" Baxter asks

"Yes." I say

"Well, I'm pretty sure, Elena doesn't want to be late, Zander." Baxter said "why don't you walk her to her locker and to her class." Baxter smiled

"Oh, no. You don't have to." I said but Zander was already walking towards the door, I lead him to my locker and he clears his throat

"Why'd you change your looks at the hotel?" He asked

"What are you talking about?" I say trying to sound realistic

"You colored your hair, your eyes, and face." He said, I grabbed my other books

"I told you not to speak of that." I said not looking at him

"That's why I'm giving you this back." He said handing me $1,000

"Keep it." I said and started to walk and he comes after me
