Well I'll tell you one thing.

I guess it was new for Shinya, since he had spent his entire life inside the water, and this 'weather' thing was clearly a phenomenon for him.

Welp, I guess the both of us didn't expect it to be so hot on winter.

"Do you want to take a bath?" I asked, but he only tilted his head in confusion.

"A bath?"

I suppose he didn't know what that was either.

After all, mermaids don't shower being inside the ocean do they?

"Wait here, I'll prepare it for you."

Shinya nodded as I walked into the bathroom, kneeling down next to the bathtub and turning on the water.
I waited till the water was warm, so I called Shinya.

"Shinya! The bathtub's ready!"

"Coming!"

I heard footsteps. He had been stumbling a bit since he still wasn't used to walking

The door opened.

"That was hard."

I chucked. "My room is 5 meters away Shinya. How was that hard? Even babies know how to walk."

"Well, I'm not a baby."

"No, you're a grown-up man, now get your ass into the bathtub."

"Fine." He sat down on the edge of the bathroom and started undressing himself.
I looked away.

"You know, you could have warned me before you did that."

"Why is it so hard for you to see me without clothes? You saw me like that literally more than 2 times back at the ocean."

"Yeah but you had your tail."

"So?"

"Your tail was covering your junk."

"My junk?"

Ugh man. Was I really going to tell him what a dick was?
I didn't want this to turn into some kind of sex ed class or some shit.
