August 26th

12:08 PM.

I swear to the high heavens that school is trying to kill me. I'm exhausted, and this is only the third day of school.

I tried making friends yesterday. Nicole Brennan, this girl who's a freshman in my math class, was pretty nice. She asked for my number, and I was so excited. I gave her my number, and we started texting. I ended up sitting next to her at lunch that day. I'm sitting with her again right now. She sat alone before I joined her. I didn't think there would be any freshmen in my math class, since it's Calculus - a college level math course.

And my school is already talking about Homecoming. I mean, it's not like I'm going to get asked, but I just love seeing everyone else get all excited about it. I heard a few guys in my English class throwing ideas at each other on how to ask their girlfriends to be their date. Isn't it implied that if you're dating someone then you're already going to the dance with them?

Whatever. I don't know anything about relationships, so don't even try to ask me.

Ugh, I'm already so done with school. I'm swimming with homework, but instead I'm writing in this diary.
