Alec

I sat on the floor for a while, I wasn't crying anymore. Why did I even cry? It wasn't like a big deal. Now I just feel bad that I kicked Syra out of my room. She probably left by now so I went downstairs. I was surprised to see that she was sitting at the kitchen counter with my mom drinking a cup of coffee.

"Yeah I've always loved music and art for as long as I can remember," Syra said to my mom.

They both stopped talking when they saw me coming downstairs.
"Hey, um, Syra," I kept pausing, " uh, I'm sorry for, um, yelling like that a while ago.."

"Don't worry about it," she replied, "it's okay." I felt relieved when she said this. I thought I was going to lose a new friend I had just met that day.
"I shouldn't have invaded your privacy like that, that was rude of me, so I'm sorry."

I don't have a good concept of time so I had no idea how long Syra had been talking to my mother, which worried me. But they couldn't have talked about that much.

Syra's mom came and picked her up around 5:30 ish and I went back to my room to comprehend all that happened today.
