Chapter 1 I love him

Squidward:

"Aaaaahahahhahahahah."
There it is again. That laugh. It's so cute. Annoying but cute. I hate spending my life pretending to despise him everyday, it's heartbreaking. Whenever I tell him to shut up or anything, he always has the cutest responses. I love him. I never loved him at first, I don't even know why I do. He is just so precious, I couldn't possibly tell him how I feel. He probably wouldn't understand anyway. He's too innocent, the little angel. But I need to tell him. He thinks I hate him. I only act like I hate him so much to hide the fact I really do like him. I really need him to know.

Spongebob:

"Aaaaahahahhahahahah"
I laughed it off. Patrick had just said Squidward hated me. He probably does. I wouldn't be surprised, I am pretty annoying. Jumping at him all the time, never leaving him alone. He probably just wishes I'd take a hint. But I wish he would take a hint too. I only do that because I love him. I try to let him know on a daily bases. I'm so scared to tell him. I can only imagine what he will say, he hates me.  It would probably make him hate me more.

Squidward:
*Knock knock*
Who was that? Was it him? Oh god. I still need time to think. How to tell him, what to say. What if he couldn't handle it? What if he didn't understand? Or I just make a massive fool of myself? I should just go for it.
*Opens door*

Spongebob:
*Knock knock*
This was it. I knocked, and waited. I'm gonna tell him. I can't keep this a secret any longer, it's killing me.
*Door opens*

ST: Spongebob?
SS: Hey Squidward. I promise I'm not here to make you feel miserable or anything, I just wanna talk.

Squidward:

Oh my god. He seriously thinks I hate him. What have I done to him? I'm horrible. Just look at him. Aww I feel terrible. Hopefully, saying this will change that.

ST: Ok well come in, sit down.
SS: Thanks.
ST: What's up? You seem so miserable, I just heard you laughing.
SS: Oh it was just Patrick making me laugh.
ST: Then why are you sad?
SS: Ok... he said that you hated me...
ST: Oh...
SS: But I know you do anyway, so...
ST: I don't. I just...
SS: Why are you being so nice to me today?
ST: Well... Look to tell you the truth I need to tell you something too.
SS: Oh. What?
ST: Well it's not something that can just be blurted out.
SS: Mines not either.
ST: Ok well let's just do this.

Squidward grabbed some paper and some pencils.

ST: There, we can both write down what it is and pass it to each other at the same time.
SS: Erm...ok then.

Squidward:

Ok what to write. 'I have feelings for you.'? No he wouldn't understand that. Would he? Oh just write 'I love you.' No I can't, too weird. Ugh fine. I'll just write 'I have feelings for you.'

Spongebob:

Ok so this didn't go as planned. I wanted to tell him, but I guess it will be less awkward. Ok so maybe 'I love you.'? Yeah ok let's just go basic.

ST: Ready?
SS: Yep.
ST: Ok.

They passed each other their piece of paper and read...

Squidward:

Ok so what does this say? 'I love you.'! Oh my god! Wait what! But in what way does him mean? I mean he might not even understand what that means fully. Or am I just underestimating him? What if he feels the same way?!

Spongebob:

'I have feelings for you.' Oh. My. God!
He does! We feel the same way?! I can't believe this is happening! Then why does he always act like he hates me?

They both looked up at each other with wide eyes.

ST: Spongebob?
SS: Squidward?
ST: Do you really love me..?
SS: Yes. Do you?
ST: Yes.
SS: Squidward if you have feelings for me, then why do you act like you hate me all the time?
ST: I knew this was coming. I just did it to hide the fact I like you ok? That might not make sense, but I'm sorry.
I've seen how it's made you, I just...
SS: Hey, it's ok.
ST: No it's not. How I've made you feel these past years is disgusting of me.
SS: It's ok, I forgive you. I love you.
ST: Me too spongebob.

They shared a meaningful look before hugging each other.

SS: So now what?
ST: Well do you wanna ask or me...?
SS: Ask what?
(Squidward: Oh my was he that dumb?)
ST: You know...
SS: Ha ha I'm just messing with you, I'm not stupid. I dunno I'll ask if you want.
ST: Ok. But before you do, I don't really know what it's like to be gay, and I'm still dealing with these new feelings I'm having.
SS: It's alright Squidward I understand.
I don't know if I'm gay either to be honest. I know I act like it, but I seriously still don know.
ST: Well we could just try it out and find out together?
SS: Yeah I'd like that.
ST: Go on then.
SS: Couldn't you ask me Squidward?
ST: Fine fine, do you want to go out with me?
SS: Oh yes, yes Squiddy!

Spongebob hugged him tightly.

ST: I love you Spongebob.
SS: Awww!

Spongebob leaned over and kissed his head.

So that was the first chapter! Should I do more? I don't want this to be a short story I feel like I need to do more coz I have some ideas but not that many but I'll see what I think of bye for now!
