Erica is starting to get slightly annoying and persistent lately. Just because I was calm with her does not mean I have to be her 24/7 friend, and now she has started to have this obsession with Ari always asking questions about her.
"So you know Ari, where does she come from?"Ask her I said in my head but keeping my cool.
"She's from Ghana and Ivory Coast"
"Ghana and Ivory Coast?"
"Yeah, why?"I asked
"Just curious"
"You and her are quite close aren't you" See here she goes again asking question after question I thought female Americans were supposed to be sexy plus the voice bonus but hers was starting to put me off all together it was so annoying.
"Don't worry about us “I didn’t even look at her I stared straight at the board trying to learn something from this lesson. She finally stopped talking. After the lesson ended she i got up walking to the cafeteria were Amari and Taylor were.
"Wassup Guy!"Amari shouted
"Mars you’re too loud” I screwed him sitting down.
"Can't I show some appreciation?
"You can just not so loud there’s too much people her to be in our business" Just then Erica walked in looking lost.
"Who's that?"Amari asked whilst licking his lips
"Some girl in my Maths class don't ca-"Before I could even finished my sentence Amari was already there bringing her to where we were seated. I screwed him and Taylor laughed
"So what’s your name pretty lady?"
"Erica"
"I haven't seen you before you new?"
She nodded shyly
"You seem shy relax why don't you hang out with us for the day"
"I don't know, if that’s okay with you?"She looked in mine and Taylor’s direction.
"yeah" Taylor spoke.
"Well Erica you’re with the guys for a day" He grinned winking at her she shied looking the other way. We eventually ended up going to Amari's house. Taylor, Amari and Erica were upstairs in his room. I came down to get a drink from the fridge. Once I closed it I saw Erica standing there awkwardly.
"These boys in London are crazy yo"
"It’s only Amari who are crazy."I got a message from Ari saying she was bored and thought she might as well come over and make Erica not feel uncomfortable being the only girl so I called her.
"Rude gyal"
"Rude Boy"
"So I’m at my boy’s house you wanna come over?"
"Er I don't know, would he mind I think I’ll just watch TV instead" She hesitated
"Of course he wouldn't and besides Ericas here by herself come on man"
I don't know"
"What do you mean you don't know and besides they want to see you" She sighed
"Fine, send me the address."
"Alright see you in a bit" We said our goodbyes and I sent her the address.

Ari
I got ready I didn't even try just put on some grey high-waisted stone wash jeans, an off shoulder navy thick jumper and put my braids in a bun at the top of my head. I got a bus to Laith's friend house following Laith's direction. Once I got to the house I gently knocked on the door I got no response, just as I was about to knock again a caramel complexioned male opened the door.
"You must be Ari nice to put a face to the name." He pulled me into a friendly hug.
"My names A-"
"Amari what are you still doing down there" Laith interrupted coming down the stairs.
"Ari you were quick" I nodded.

"Didn't take too long getting ready" Amari let me enter before closing the door and directing me to his room whilst Laith went toilet. Once I got into the room I waved at Erica and saw another male who looked quite faniliar.
"Ari I see you know Erica, and Laith already but this is Taylor" Then it clicked who it was one of Laith's close friends was Taylor, Zorea's situationship ex.
"Taylor, Ari" He nodded.
"Yeah I know her" I nodded also
"Yup through people."In all honesty I thought he was a total dick and didn’t like him. As time went on Laith and Amari and Taylor were arguing about their game whilst me and Erica sat back and laughed but I eventually ended up laughing around with he seemed to have a chilled back attitude same as Amari who was such a Comedian he kind of reminded me of Tafari. Erica volunteered to go downstairs and make us hot chocolate, my favourite! Me and Taylor sat back and spoke calmly till he brought up Zorea which tensed things.
"How is she?"
"Who?"
"You know Zorea is she good? Has she got a man yet?"
"Wow slow down with the questions, Mr Ask.com. I don't want to put her business out there it isn't my place to say" He nodded.
"True I should never have asked you’re a true friend to her" I smiled,Erica returned with the hot drinks and passed it round before reaching me.
"Here you go, this one is made with extra love" I smiled and thanked her before taking a sip. She watched me intently as she sat back as I drank my hot chocolate. Once I was done I picked all the empty cups and went downstairs to go wash them.
"You didn't have to do that" I put a hand to my chest.
"Laith you scared me, and I wanted to it’s not my house and I'm acting respectful" He leaned up off the wall uncrossing his arms. I felt kind of dizzy as he walked towards me but I shook my head regaining my posture.
"You Okay?"He asked as he stood in front of me staring into my eyes
"Yeah I'm just a little tiered"
'You want me to take you home?"
I nodded feeling as if I could drop any second I clenched my fists as my stomach starting hurting and walked up the stairs.
"I'm gonna take Ari home as she isn’t feeling well"
"Oh no Ari I hope you get better" Erica asked bending down to look into my eyes i don't know if I was imagining but i could see smile playing on her mouth but then again she always smiles.
"See you around Ari, It was nice meeting you” I smiled nodding at Amari and said goodbye to all of them before stepping in the car. Laith got in and drove off. Along the way home I was silent I felt really tiered.
"You alright?"Laith asked turning to me.
"Yeah I'm just really tiered and keep your eye on the road dude" He chuckled and we continued to drive in silence. Once the car stopped the car I get up and reach my door I turned around.
"Ari are you sure you’re okay?"He asks again.
"Yeah yeah I’m fine" just as I was about the open the door I felt real heavy and collapsed.

I opened my eyes to find myself in my bedroom squinting at the lighting. Laith then walked in.
"You're good!"He walked towards me
"Yes I am good, what happened?"I asked confused. He sat next to me on the bed.
"You don't remember?"He asks turning to me. I shake my head.
"All I remember is from going to your friend Amari's house till you dropped me off after that everything is a just blur" He looked at me staring intently into my eyes as usual making me feel uncomfortable.
"Your eyes seem to be dilated" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Dilated?  What on earth happened to me?"
"You fainted on the floor as you were opening the door"
"I fainted, wow" I was shocked I have never fainted before.
"I knew there was something wrong, from time I saw you acting funny"
"I'm better now so it doesn't matter"
"It does like you could have really hurt yourself and it would have been my fault."
I slowly got up and reached for his shoulder
"Hey listen I fainted nothing was your fault don't beat yourself up about it, stop worrying and acting like it scared you" He tensed.
"Were you scared?"He didn't respond
"Oh my gosh Laith you were!" I screeched then started cooing.
"Aww bless you"
"Shut up, I wasn't scared man"
"It's alright Waith wittle Ari is fine now, that is so cute" I continued to coo.
"It's not I just get uncomfortable when someone I’m blessed with gets hurt"
"It's normal to feel like that you have feelings to stop putting on this front all the time, I know you to well now and I know basically your Your next moves.
"Really" I nodded
"Are you sure?"
"Absolutely positive" I nodded ferociously and he started laughing. Once he calmed down he pulled me up by my chin before crushing his soft lips on mine. He was so slow letting me indulge this high of euphoria. My eyes fluttered but closed again my heart beat double time, Adrenaline building up inside me. His vast approach was exciting me ,however my seven minutes in heaven descended as he pulled away. My mouth still pouted and eyes still cold to the cold air breezing on my lips I opened my eyes to see his so close Allowing me to see his eyes to turn a very nice hue of grey.
"So you obviously expected that?"He got up pecking me on the lips before leaving laughing to himself. What has happened to 'Just friends’ don't think I can deal with this intense feeling in the pit if my stomach anymore I don't know what this feeling is but it was making me go crazy internally. I touched my recent attacked lips trying to remember that high. I looked to my left and saw a hot chocolate .He must've made it for me. I couldn't say his name right now. I just couldn't muster what these feelings are.
