Part 8

You slowly stirred from your sleep, you could feel the  tattered blanket against your cold skin. You pulled the covers around you tighter as you buried your face into the old smelling pillow. You finally slowly opened your eyes and let your eyes adjust to the dimly lit room, it was morning now. You sat up holding the cover against your bare body as you searched for Changkyun.
"Changkyun?" You whispered groggily but you didn't see him anywhere in the room.
You looked over and saw your clothes were still hanging up but Changkyun's were gone. You reached for your damp shirt and pulled it over your head then put on the rest of your clothes. You stood up and walked to the door and pulled it open, the sun was out now, the storm had finally passed.
"Changkyun?" You called as you walked through the old building holding your cold body.
"Hey," you heard him call as he stepped into the hallway.
"I thought you left me," you whispered as relief felt relief seeing him.
"I was just making sure it was ok for us to leave, and I thought you could sleep a bit longer, you were having trouble sleeping through the storm," Changkyun explained as he pulled you into his arms and hugged your cold body.
You smiled against his chest, "is it ok for us to go home?" You asked as you looked up at his sleepy face.
"Ya it cleared up some, it's just sprinkling, I think my place is closer though so we should go there in case it starts to get bad again." Changkyun explained as he let your body go but glided his hand down your arm to lace his fingers in yours.
"Mmm," you half heartedly agreed. You knew eventually you would have to face Kihyun, and of course Shownu. you weren't as worried about Shownu since things didn't get too far but, you were sure that it may be a bit uncomfortable being in the same room with three guys you've had your "adventures" with.
"Don't worry, I won't get into a fight today, since we are pretty much going to be stuck in the building I won't make things uncomfortable." Changkyun reassured as he pulled you with him to the front door.
You followed Changkyun out of the building into the damp streets. The cool air hit your body and you hugged your body trying to keep yourself warm and Changkyun pulled you into his body as he led you down the sidewalk. The sky was cloudy and dark, even tho it was barely midday it seemed as though it was late, the dark stormy skies filled with a rumbling thunder. The thunder was so loud you could feel the ground shaking under your feet, Changkyun felt your uneasiness and gave your shoulder a small squeeze, pulling you away from your fears and back to just trying to focus on him.
"Just a bit longer, but we should probably walk faster, it seems like it's about to rain again, and it doesn't look like there's any chance of us catching a taxi, with the way the weather is it doesn't seem like anyone is out today." Changkyun said as he urged you to quicken your pace with his.
You held onto Changkyun's body as another roll of thunder shook the ground again. Changkyun held you closer, the sky was starting to get darker and you could feel droplets of rain starting to fall from the sky.
"We need to run, we are close, just hold onto my hand tight ok, I won't let go," Changkyun almost had to yell over the crashes of lightening.
You gave Changkyun a small nod and held onto his hand tightly as Changkyun pulled you after him. The rain slowly started to grow more and more intense, you could barely see in front of you. You squeezed your eyes tightly trusting that Changkyun would be able to guide you.
Another rumble of thunder shook the ground under you and you gripped your other hand around Changkyun's hand that was holding your other hand. He gave your hand a reassuring squeeze as he kept pulling you after him. You could feel your heart pounding and your ears were starting to ring from all the intensity of the chaos that was happening around you.
You lost focus on your feet when a loud crash of lightening and thunder crashed close by. Your legs got tangled and you felt yourself starting to fall. Your knee went first into the sidewalk as your hands slipped out of Changkyun's grip and you let out a yelp.
"(Y/n)!" Changkyun yelled over the pouring rain as he came to an abrupt stop as he felt you fall behind him.
You pushed yourself up off the wet sidewalk and tried to stand up but your shaky legs only gave out again causing you to fall back down. Changkyun's quickly threw your arm around his shoulders and scooped you up in his arms. He adjusted your weight in his arms and he started to run again, you buried your face into his neck and clung onto him tightly. Tears were welling up in your eyes, a mixture of pain, fear, and feeling useless as Changkyun carried you was overwhelming you.
Changkyun finally turned the corner and saw Starships building across the street. He adjusted you once again in his arms and ran quickly across the deserted street and finally came to a stop in front of the building doors. Changkyun tried to open on of the doors but it didn't give.
"Shit, they locked them," Changkyun muttered under his breath.
You were starting to get anxious, you could hear the rain pouring down worse, even though you were out of the rain you knew you both were still at risk. Changkyun kicked his foot against the bottom of the door making loud bangs against it.
"Someone! Open the door please!" Changkyun yelled as he continued to hit his foot against the door.
"Changkyun," you whispered in a shaking voice.
"Someone! Open the door!" Changkyun screamed again, "there's someone! Hey hey open the door!" He screamed louder banging the door louder.
They must have heard because soon you could hear someone turning the lock and then finally pushed the door open for the two of you to enter.
"Changkyun! Where were you! The managers have been so worried, we all have been!" You heard Minhyuk's voice as he pulled the door closed behind you guys as you enter the warm building.
You let out a sigh of relief knowing that you were finally in a safe place out of the storm. Changkyun carried you further into the building and finally he entered a room and sat you down on one of the chairs.
"Are you ok?" Changkyun whispered as he looked over your face.
You gave him a small nod as you finally opened your eyes and looked into his. His eyes quickly looked over your arms and legs looking for any kind of injuries. His eyes stopped at your knees when he saw the blood from the gashes of when you fell.
"Minhyuk can you get me the first aid?" Changkyun asked over his shoulder to Minhyuk who stood in the doorway. Minhyuk quickly walked out and Changkyun turned his attention back to you. "We're safe now," he reassured as he pushed your wet hair out of your face.
You gave him a small shaky smile as he ran his thumb across your cheek wiping away the mixture of tears and ran that was on your face.
"Here!" Minhyuk almost yelled as he rushed back into the room handing Changkyun the first aid kit.
Changkyun quickly opened the box and pulled out some medicine and bandaids. He gently started to tend to your wounds, you bit your bottom lip as you pushed through the pain of Changkyun nursed you.
"There," Changkyun whispered as he put the finishing touches of the bandaids over your wounds.
"Thank you," you managed to croak out giving Changkyun the best smile you could despite the situation you were in.
"Minhyuk do you think you could go to my room and grab some spare clothes for (y/n) she needs to take a warm shower and get out of these soaked clothes." Changkyun asked as he stood up and helped you to your feet.
"Ya, no problem," Minhyuk responded and he left the room and you and Changkyun slowly walked out after him and he slowly helped you up the stair cases to the level of were some spare rooms and bathroom facilities were.
Changkyun led you to the women's bathroom and looked over to you, "go ahead and go in and take a shower I'll set some extra clothes by the door, there should be some towels inside." Changkyun informed as he gave you a small hug.
You stared at the door, you didn't want to be left alone, "can't you wait inside, I don't want to be alone," you whispered.
"Hey it's ok, I'll be here, we are safe now, I am going to take a quick shower myself and get changed, it'll be ok, I promise," Changkyun reassured.
"Ok," you whispered as you pushed open the door and slowly walked into the bathroom.
The door slowly closed behind you and you went to one of the shower stalls and turned on the water. The hot water caused steam to start to pour out of the stall and you started to peel off your soaked clothes and let them fall to the floor. You stepped into the stall and the warm water hit your cold body, you let out a soft sigh as the water started to warm you.
You started to feel all the anxiety start to drain out of your body as you continued to wash away all the dust and muck from the old building you had stayed in the night before. You were rinsing your hair when you heard the bathroom door open and then softly close.
"Changkyun?" You called and listened but didn't hear anything.
You wiped your face with your hands and listened, but you couldn't hear anything. You turned the water off and listened, it sounded like someone was there.
"Changkyun can you hand me a towel please," you called hoping he'd respond. You waited for a moment then you saw a hand push in a towel around the curtain for you to take.
You smiled and took the towel and started to dry yourself off, you wrapped the towel around your body and pushed open the curtains and stepped out as you stared down at your feet.
"Did you bring me clothes?" You asked still staring down at your feet to make sure you didn't fall.
He held out clothes for you and you took them from his hands.
"Thank you," you started but when you looked up...

You realized it wasn't Changkyun...

Sorry for being away for so long writers block is a real disease and I was so frustrated. On top of it I have been so busy with another page I'm running and kfkwkcja. Anywho.... as you can tell it's about to get intense >.< I hope you all are ready cuz I'm back and ready to mess with your feels!
