Lemmony Snicket: I can't imagine your actually enjoying this depressing story, and I'm sorry to inform you, as this is 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events', it only gets worse from here.

Blaze's POV
Early the next morning I'm awakened by Olaf yelling.

Olaf: "ORPHAN! WAKE UP, YOU MIDGET!"

Me: "Yes, sir."

Olaf: "Orphan, why does it seems like we just had this talk a couple seconds ago! YOU WILL CALL ME FATHER, AND NOTHING ELSE! Understand?!"

Me: "Yes, nothing else."

Olaf: "D- yes. Now, go do your chores!"

Me: "What chores?"

Olaf rolls his eyes before pulling out a piece of paper from his jacket, and unrolling it.

Olaf: "Blaze, what is this?"

Me: "What does this hav-

Olaf: "Do you know what this is!"

Me: "It looks like a list."

Olaf: "WRONG! It's a list, a list of chores in which you are to do! I expect them all competed by the end of the day. A rich brat like you was probably spoiled, and has never done a chore in your life!"

"Actually, I did help around the house."
I say afraid.

(Mocked in high pitch voice) "Really, did you help around the house? Really, that's great. (Un-mocked) Well today's your lucky day, orphan!"

Me: "Yes, ........father."

Olaf: "Now get working! My acting troop will be here at 7, so I expect you to stay in your room when you are done."

I nod, as Olaf walks away.
The list of chores read:
Wash dishes
Chop wood
Scrub floors
Dust library
Wash clothes
Clean gutters
Tidy music room
Tune all instruments

A couple minutes later, I was almost done with all my chores. I still had 3 more do do.

Next in the list was clean the gutters, and I had no idea where to find a ladder, or any other supplies I needed to do the job.
I walked down the stairs, and found Olaf sitting at the table sipping tea.

He had a pale, green, silk robe on, a white t-shirt, and long, pink pants.
He looked at me with a cruel look in his eyes.

Olaf: "What do you want!"

Me: "What am I supposed to use to clean the gutters?"

Olaf sighs.

"Use this poky-thingy."
He says handing me tweezers.

"No, no way I'm doing this."
I say.

"You will do it!"
Olaf shouts.

"Not with these."

"Use your hands!"

"NO. Why?"
I say.

Olaf hits me.

"I told you not to talk back orphan! Get up, and follow me."

I follow him outside holding my stinging face.

"Climb up there all ready."
Olaf says.

I climb up a rickety ladder too the roof, Olaf right behind me.

"GET TO WORK!"

'I hate doing this.'

Lemmony Snicket: Is advice you to put down this book, or mobile device right now, as it only gets more sinister.

I have my back to Olaf, when all of a sudden Olaf pushes me, and I loose my balance.

I fall to the ground.

"What the hell are you doing down there, orphan!"
Olaf shouts.

"You pushed me off the roof!"
I shout.

"You fell."

I get up.
Lucky I only fell a foot.
I'm not hurt.

"I'm leaving!"
I say.

'He tried to kill me.'
I think.

"Your not going anywhere."
Says one of his acting troop members.

"Yeah, you still have to make us dinner!"
Olaf says climbing down from the roof.

"Come here orphan!"
He says grabbing me by the hair and dragging me back into the house.

"Ow!"

"Shut it! I'm very disappointed in you."
Olaf says shoving me into my room. Agin, he locks the door.🏴
