*Lin's POV*

"Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Miranda! You'll be expecting identical twin girls in February!" The sonogram technician told us at Pippa's appointment.

Pippa was 4 months pregnant and this was our monthly appointment.

I looked over to Pippa, who was smiling ear to ear, looking at the screen. "Girls! Two of them!" She said excitedly.

"I'm so happy, Pip" I said holding her hand and kissing it.

The technician printed us out a few copies of the ultrasound and we were on our way back home.

As we walked through the streets of the city, I noticed Pippa was glowing and smiling still; I knew she was excited that we were having girls.

"Are you thinking of names already?" I asked gently nudging her with my shoulder. She giggled and looked at me. "Well, yes, actually!" She smiled and held my hand.

I smiled and kissed her hand. "Oh yeah? Whatcha thinking?" I asked her, swaying our hands as we walked.

"I was thinking Elizabeth and Skyler" she said smiling brightly. I smiled at her and nodded with agreement.

The names were perfect. I loved them.

Once we got home, Pippa went into our bedroom to call her parents and tell them the news. I'd wait to tell my parents, seeing how I would see them tomorrow.

As I sat on the couch, Sebastian came running up to me.

"Where the baby?"

"Bubba, remember, there's two! And silly boy, they aren't here yet, they're still in mommy."

"But I want to see them!"

"Look" I said as I handed him the picture of the sonogram.

"Those are your sisters!"

"Girls? Oh no"

I couldn't help to laugh. I scruffed his hair and set him down.

"Come on, you goof, let's get you ready for bed."

I got him all ready for bed and tucked in. After that, I headed into mine and Pippa's room.

As I got changed, I noticed Pippa was on her laptop and she was feverishly typing.

"Whatcha doin, babe?"

"Oh!" She quickly shut her laptop. "Oh, it was nothing, I was just ordering some things."

I nodded, and climbed into bed next to her.

She pulled the covers over us, and I shut off the light.

"Goodnight, Pippa"

"Goodnight Lin."

Before I fell asleep, I wrapped my arms around her and rest my chin on her shoulder. I felt that she put her hands on mine, and I smiled as I drifted off to a peaceful sleep.

I couldn't complain, life was swell. I have a wonderful son, a beautiful wife, and soon, I'll have two little amazing girls.

This was all I needed.
