Chapter 1

"I can't believe you would think such a thing" Kat spat shaking her head

"Yeah well you've been spending an awful lot of time with him lately" Jax said crossing his arms over his chest

"Jax you can't be serious right now, Happy is old as shit he's my fucking friend" Kat yelled

"Yeah and he's my brother" Jax said raising his brow

"You are absolutely unbelievable Jackson if you think for one minute that I would cheat on you" She said as her entire body shook, she hated arguing with her long term boyfriend, rarely did it ever end well

"Kat you blew me off to go into the ring with him" Jax said

"Oh my god Jax listen to yourself for one fucking second he was showing me some new moves he learned" Kat yelled

"Your screwing up a good thing here Kat" Jax said

"Me? I'm the one screwing it up? How about last week when I found Ima in your dorm? Or the week before that you needed to help Emily Duncan out huh?" Kat yelled

"That was for the club and you know it" Jax yelled back

"Exactly Jax, cheating on your old lady because you think it's okay?" Kat asked

"It's not cheating when it's work related" Jax argued

"Your ridiculous, I'm done I can't do this anymore" Kat said walking towards the door

"Kat cmon please" Jax said grabbing her arm

Kat swung around and socked Jax in the jaw

"Don't touch me. When I say I'm done I'm done. I can't do this anymore. It really isn't worth it" she said

"Seven years isn't worth it? That crow on your back isn't worth it?" Jax asked

"Not anymore, some advice try harder" Kat said pushing past Jax and out of the house.

Kat ran to her car as she heard Jax yell her name, before she put her car in drive she looked up into the rearview mirror and watched as Jax ran towards her car tears streaming down his face.

Kat loved Jax unconditionally she always has ever since they were kids, but Jax was always too preoccupied with porn pussy or crow eaters to bother.

Driving to her brother's house where she stayed when Jax and her argued  she looked into the mirror and saw Jax was tailing her, pulling into the driveway she knew it was only going to get worse

"Jax leave me alone" she said getting out of the car

"Babe please don't do this" Jax said walking towards her

"I have to Jax I can't do this anymore, I'm sick of being put to the side" Kat said

"Kit Kat please I love you" Jax cried

Kat huffed knowing when he called her that she was going to give into him, rarely did Jax Teller show emotions"No. I can't"

"Why baby?" He said walking closer to her

"Because Jax I'm always the one getting hurt" Kat said

"I'm sorry" Jax said his eyes going to the ground

"Just stop. Your going to make me feel guilty once again and I'm not falling for it anymore Jackson" she said adjusting her bag on her shoulder

"You don't know what you do to me" Jax said

"You drive me crazy with this shit Jax, always always always just stop with it. I need to live not be so.... So contained and sheltered because you want me to be no one else's" Kat admitted

"You want to be with Happy? Is that what your telling me?" Jax asked getting pissed

"No. Fucking fuck Jax just stop!" Kat yelled

The front door opened and Opie comes walking out without a shirt on

"There a problem?" Opie asked

"No op we are done here, don't text me or call anymore Jax I'm done" Kat said choking back tears as she walked into the house

After trying not to listen to Jax and Opies conversation outside Opie stalked into her room

"What are you gonna do Kat?" Opie asked

"I can't be with him anymore Op, I'm tired of being used and abused" Kat said

"You know he's not gonna leave you alone" Opie said

"I know that's why your helping me get​ out of here" Kat said grabbing her duffel bag and stuffing it with items

"Kat you can't just leave Jax like that he will be so fucked up" Opie said

Kat stopped and looked at her older brother

"Does it look like I care? He fucked me up so much Opie I don't think I could trust another man again" Kat said

"He's gonna be heartbroken" Opie said

"Who's fucking side are you on Opie?" Kat asked as her hands rested on her hips

"Yours Kat" Opie said

"I fucking doubt that, you don't want to help me then I'll do it my fucking self" Kat said continuing to stuff things in her bag

"Kat don't leave" Opie said

"Everyone here wants me to stay and deal with the shit Jax puts me through because I'm his old lady well guess what Opie I'm done" Kat said

"Kathryn" Opie said sternly

"Looks like I'm done with you too" Kat said pushing past her brother

Kat watched in the rearview mirror as her brother's figure got smaller and smaller, not a dollar in her pocket and no where to go Kat stopped at the stop sign and thought

Kat was always the type of person that would do anything for anyone, she would never forget the day Jax asked her out officially. They had flirted most of their life but Kat always told Jax that he couldn't make a move without her brother's permission. After weeks of coaxing Opie he finally agreed. That was seven years ago. Seven years of her life she would never get back.

Kat loved Jax sometimes too much. Everything went perfect until Kat got his crow and then Jax assumed he could do whatever he wanted because he had an old lady at home, thier home. The home that Jax always dreamed of having with Kat. The home they discussed raising kids in but Jax threw all that away when he decided bringing other girls back to his dorm was acceptable.

Kat looked down at the sign pointing towards Utah, feeling her phone buzzed for what felt like the millionth time since she left six hours ago she pulled over to the side of road to open her phone

Kit Kat please come home

I love you I'm sorry I'm such an asshole

Please forgive me babe

I'll do anything to have you in bed with me

I need you kit Kat please

Kat threw her phone out of the window and smiled

She was finally freeing herself from all the bad in her life.

Four years later

Kat heard the doorbell ring, it had to of been three in the morning, looking over to Josh who was sound asleep Kat crawled out of bed and grabbed her satin robe from the foot of the bed.

The last four years Kat had changed so much, she met Josh while she was working at a diner in the city, after months of swooning she felt comfortable to move in with him. Kat didn't contact many people from back home except for Opie, he was due to drive in next week to see her finally after four years

Opening the door Kat's past came back to haunt her

"Jax what are you doing her" Kat asked pulling the rode tighter around her small frame

"Opies dead kit Kat" Jax cried
