Chapter 12

Jax stood there waiting for Kat to answer him, knowing she was going to say yes anyway but her silence was killing him

"Like tomorrow?" Kat asked

"Babe it's our only option" Jax said

Kat took a deep breath knowing Jax was right, the only way she was guaranteed to be able to see Jax was if they were married

"Your sure the lawyer said your divorce was final?" Kat asks

"Yes she called yesterday, it's final I am a free man" Jax said

"Well technically not but I'll let you think that for a few minutes" Kat laughed

"So tomorrow it is" Jax said

Kat nodded her head and bit her lip, she always wanted her father to walk her down the isle and Opie to be standing aside Jax as his best man

"Babe?" Jax asked as he watched the tears fall from her cheeks

"My dad and Opie aren't here to see it" Kat cried as Jax took her in his arms

"They are watching babe, they just aren't physically here but they would be so happy for us" Jax said

"Jax, I love you" Kat cried

"God kit Kat i love you too" Jax said as he squeezed her tighter 

"I'm gonna be a Teller tomorrow" Kat smiled

"You deserve to be and you should of been a long time ago" Jax smiled

"Things happen, but I'm glad it's happening now" Kat said

"I am too babe" Jax said kissing Kats forehead

Jax had left for the morning, the plan was to meet at the courthouse around three Kat got Abel up and dressed for the moment, sitting on the couch feeding him a bottle there was a knock on the door

Kat got up off the couch and looked through the peep hole rolling her eyes she opened the door

"Since when do you knock?" Kat asked

"Since I just found out you and my son were getting married" Gemma said walking in the house

"Sorry Gem it was kinda suddenly decided last night" Kat said

"Same thing Jax said. What are you going to do when he goes to jail?" Gemma asked taking Abel from kats arms

"Take care of Abel and the twins" Kat said

"You planning on staying here or what?" Gemma asked

"Yes Gemma I'm staying here" Kat said crossing her arms

"Well just asking you have a history of taking off" Gemma said as she sat down on the couch

"Gemma listen, I'm not leaving Jax. I'm staying and I know you have a serious problem with that but your gonna have to get used to it" Kat said

"I do have a problem with it, you've broked Jaxs heart too many times" Gemma said

"I was still a kid I'm not a kid anymore, if I was going to run I would have already when I found out about Abel" Kat said

"Abel giving you a hard time?" Gemma asked

"We have our days but we get through them just fine with or without Jax, so of your here to meddle you can leave" Kat said

"You've grown quite the set of balls haven't you?" Gemma smiled looking at Kat

"They've always been there Gemma, just the matter of when I feel it necessary to stand up for myself" Kat said

"You should, your going to be Jaxs Tellers wife, and one day the queen" Gemma said

"Let's get one thing straight Gemma, as soon as I am married I will be the queen, Jax is president which means I will be the queen not you. You are just some old lady now" Kat said

Gemma placed Abel down in his seat on the floor and stood up in front of Kat, Kat had grown up alot in the past four years

"Say it Gemma I know you've got a mouth full" Kat said

"If You weren't pregnant I'd probably knock you out" Gemma said

"Go ahead Gemma, I'm sure Ja would love hearing that story, wouldn't be the first time you've hit me" Kat said

"Your always the provoker aren't you Kathryn, it's what you always do just to get your way" Gemma said

"Go fuck yourself Gemma seriously. Your just pisses because now you have no choice but to deal with me" Kat said

"Honey Jax isnt going to want to deal with you on your high horse either, so i suggest you get off it. I'll see you at three daughter in law" Gemma smiled as she made her way to the door

Kat growled at the door when it was closed, Gemma always knew when to push her buttons, she didn't want to tell Jax that his mother showed up to start problems, so she would keep quiet about it for now

Jax sat at Opies gravesite, he always promised Opie in the past  he would take care of Kat no matter what happened, and now he was marrying her. Jax always visions marrying Kat but things always seemed to go South south for them. Jax changed alot and was a better man then it was on the prior years and he was going to continue to become a better man

Jax was a little nervous about going to jail, sure he has the prospects to watch over his family but no one was going to be there for Kat emotionally through the rest of her pregnancy, he knew he was getting locked up soon it was just a matter of time before they came to put him in handcuffs

Placing his hand on Opies headstone and walked away, silently promising Opie he would do right by Kat this time around

Jax and Kat stood in front of the justice of the peace as he read the paper he was holding in front of him, both Jax and Kat wished they could of had a real wedding but the circumstances were impossible

"You may kis your bride" He said smugly

Jax cupped Kats face and kisses her tenderly, the few patches clapping loudly from behind them as Gemma stood there holding Abel who was sleeping

"Let Go Mrs. Teller" Jax smiled as He took Kats hand in his

"That is something ive been waiting my whole life to hear" Kat smiled as they walked towards the doors of the courthouse

Kat squeezed jaxs hand tighter as the walked towards the door noticing who was standing outside

"I love you Kat, I'm sorry" Jax said as he stopped to kiss her

"I love you too Jax, we knew this was going to happen, just thought we would Of had more time" Kat said

"Take care of our babies okay? All of them" Jax said as his hand found her stomach

Kat nodded a the tears fell down her face, Jax grabbed her hand as he pushed the door open

"Jackson Teller you are under arrest..." Josh began reading Jax his rights while putting hand cuffs on Jaxs wrists

"I love you Jax stay safe" Kat said quickly kissing Jax before Josh pulled him away
