Still hiding her face in his chest, Angela heard her father nervously ask how her sleep was. She didn't know what to say. It was her best sleep ever. She felt so safe in her father's arms and she didn't know what to do out of it. She snuggled closer and said softly,
"The best I ever had."
She inhaled her father's scent, some of her wolfishness still in the air and smiled up at him, calm enough to actually look at him.
"I've never felt so safe before," she added shyly.
