despite the fact that we stood as far from each other as possible, we were paired together when it was time to participate in games and activities on the show. everyone knew about the break up, but no one knew the reasons why we were no longer dating.
we stood next to each other, with a huge gap in between us, as the rest of our groups were split into partners.
without looking at me, she gave an awkward greeting, transporting me back to years ago when we were teenagers. she had the exact same shy tone of voice that lacked the confidence she had as an idol.
"hi jinnie."
it was the first time i heard her voice in so long.

another little update for this story. i know it may seem like im starting off slow, but i dont want the chapters to be too long, also i dont want to get right into it. so some exposition is nice.
