Chapter 17: Yuri and Y/n, Bond of Trust Pt. 2

(Yuri's POV)

School had just ended and Y/n and I were about to hang out. Y/n told me that she usually doesn't hang out with June and May on Fridays due to their part time jobs as cashiers at their parent's cafe. June and May's last name is Wong so I'm guessing that their family dinner is one I went too when I first got here. I really like the food there. Anyways, Y/n and I were walking together somewhere to have some fun. I could only wonder what she is thinking about right now. Y/n looked at various places as we passed by while she didn't say a word.

"Y/n, is everything alright?"

She flipped her head back to me as her h/l h/c hair whipped through the wind, "Hmm?"

"Are you okay? You seem distracted."

"Yeah! I was just looking for places to eat!" She gave me a bright smile. I guess she is the type who eats after school.

I nodded, "You want to go to a cafe? We can go to the Wong Family Cafe down the block."

Y/n's eye lit up once I mentioned the cafe, "You know the Wong Cafe?"

I nodded my head once again, "Yeah, it's a cafe I went to go eat breakfast at when I first got here."

"Let's go there then!" She said with enthusiasm as she dragged my arm down the block with her.

I can't help but smile to myself. Y/n is a secretive person who doesn't show her weaknesses to people. She likes to laugh and smile because she wants people to be happy about the things around them rather than feeling pain and being depressed. I love to see her laugh at something I say and smile when I'm happy. Her happiness is my happiness. It feels great to have her hold my hand while bringing me to a place she has such enthusiasm for. I wish this moment could last forever. We finally arrived at the Wong Cafe after about 5 minutes of me being dragged by Y/n. My arm kind of felt sore because Y/n's grip was tough and it felt like it was going to be ripped off. Once she let go and glanced at my sore arm. Hers eye lit up in concern.

"Oh god, I'm so sorry Yuri! I didn't mean-"

I smiled at her, "It's fine, it's just a bit sore. It's not that big of a deal."

"But doesn't it hurt?" She asked with her eyes softening as she touched my shoulder.

I blushed a deep scarlet and turned my head, "NO! IT'S FINE! I'm manly so it doesn't hurt at all!" I tried to act noble and strong but I felt pathetic.

Y/n smiled and laughed, "Oh course, your very manly to not feel pain. It's just like you."

I glanced at her. Y/n, May, and June were really the only people who acknowledge me as a human being and not just a figure skater. My gaze softened, "Shall we go in?" I opened the door for her.

Y/n nodded and giggled, "We shall." She walked inside holding my arm gently pulling me inside.

Y/n and I sat down at a window table waiting for either May or June or come with the menu. It was pretty busy. Many people came from work on their break, friends getting together, and school kids getting a snack to eat after a long day of school. The cafe wasn't too packed but from what I can tell, this place was a place that a lot of people went too. Y/n was flipping her head around constantly looking through the window to the inside of the cafe. Her face was a bit pale but I can see slightly through the sunlight in her that there was a light blush. I smiled at her.
