Chapter 28: Lilith
(Mira's POV)
I sat in the room Yuri and I shared. I took out an old and dusty book and opened it. I flipped through several pages until I found what I needed. I stopped at a page with an incantation and instructions. I followed the instructions exactly creating a pentagram from ashes that I had bought at some store. After that, I grabbed the shiny silver knife that was on the floor and slit myself ever so slight. The red, hot, shiny blood flowed out of my arm like a fountain as I started to spread it around my surface. When I was finished, I sat in the middle of the circle. I knew what I needed to do and I would do anything to make sure this happens the way it's suppose to. I held my breath. It's time. I opened my mouth and started to state a couple words.
"Hoheo Taralna, Rondero Tarel."
My heart pounded against my chest as I said those exact words. My eyes went cloudy as the room started to spin. My stomach did somersaults rolling my already eaten breakfast. I felt sick from my head to my toe. My head started to ache as if a bullet was shot through it. My body was in deep pain as the light from the window seemed to fade away. Then everything went black.
I woke up in a weird room. It was all black and nothing was there. Where am I? Is this actually a room? It didn't seem like it but something was there watching me. I heard small feet run across the blackened nothing less floor, if there was even a floor. I heard whispered but I couldn't make out what most of them said. It was jumbled and soft and kind of creepy but at the same time alluring. I looked around the strange darkened place I was in and got up on my feet. There was nothing around but I walked around it as if I was inspecting something.
"Human, what is your wish?" A thick British accent spoke.
I jumped back a bit at the echoing voice that spoke, "Who are you?"As if made out of air, a girl appeared in front of me. She was beautiful. Her hair was the color of my beloved and long enough to pass her waist while her eyes were a chocolate brown. I could see from the back of her that she had wings of an angel but the only difference was that it was black rather than white.
She walked towards me and spoke again, "Human, you have called upon me, did you not? What is your wish?"
I tilted my head to the side, "My...wish?"
She nods her head, "You have summon the depths of hell at your call and now you must tell us what you need." She turned away from me and started to walk, "If you don't need me that is alright, I shall-"
I jumped forward my hand reaching out, "Wait! I know what I want, my wish."
The dark angel seized in her tracks and turned back, "Oh? What is it then?"
I gritted my teeth, "I wish for Yuri Plisetsky to become mine, and to get rid of Y/n L/n if that's what it takes!" I screamed at the top of my lungs feeling the anger boiling in my body.
She smirked at me, "A wish over a boy? How pathetic. Hmp, but your wish is what I'll obey." She walked towards me closer and closer.
"What is your name little one?"
"Mirajane Jones."
"Alright Mira, you shall call me Lilith. From now on I am your secret key to success. Your wish is my command and your contract has been made." She smirked one last time before everything went black again.
I woke up the next morning to the opening of my curtains. I rubbed my eyes and sat up in bed. My head was stinging so much that I felt as if I would drop dead that very second. My room was bright and it seemed all too normal for me. Was that a dream? The fresh fragrance of early morning tea awoke my senses as the door creaked open. I looked over to it to notice a maid at the door. She has long blonde hair with chocolate eyes. Her hair was long but silky and beautiful. It took me a moment to realized who it was.
"L-Lilith?!" I nearly jumped out of my bed in shock.
Lilith's look alike smiled at me, "Young mistress, you mustn't yell." She had the same thick accent as the one the dream Lilith had.
I blinked my eyes in confusion. Young Mistress? I shook my head, "If I'm not mistaken, your name is Lilith, right?"
She nods her head accordingly, "Of course young mistress. Are you quite alright?"
I laugh to myself, "I had a weird dream. I nearly lost Yuri and you were a demon. Man, it sounds stupid when I think about it."
Lilith smirked unusually, "Mistress, are you sure it was a dream?" She spoke darkly and it chilled my bones to it's core.
I stopped laughing and looked at her head on. Her eyes glowed in my somehow darkened room and she took off her right glove. On her right hand was a insignia. The Faustian contract. I looked at my hand that was covered in bandages. Even though it didn't hurt I had to wear it. I undid the bandages and stared at my hand. It bore the same mark that Lilith had. It was like a collar to it's owner. Lilith smirked.
"I'll turn day into night, sugar into salt, living into corpses, navy into gold, and with you the princess into the queen."
