It had been months since I started school, outside of Essence, Zavi was one person I had got really close with. Leilani and I formed a friendship but it wasn't much out beyond school and smoking. She had gotten a car shortly after our first day so I never seen that Charger again. Zavi tapped me on my shoulders causing me to look up with wide eyes. He blew a breath out before laughing.
"Bitchh" I said whining. "That is not funny. Im so fucking sleepy today" I said pouting
"Girl, 5 more hours and we out for a 2 week break. Thank you Jesus" He said holding his hands high. He bent over going into a shout while saying hallelujah. I linked arms with him as I joined him shuffling my feet from side to side.
"Okay, no for real. I'm ready for my facial" He said crossing his arms. "I prepped my skin so good last night, I really feel like a doctor sometimes" He sighed at the end looking down.
"Bitch you was 45 minutes late not me" I said furrowing my eyebrows together. "Your skin do look good though" I said
We bantered as we walked into the room. It was an open space with 10 different massage tables. I had pulled out my set up before hand while I waited on him. I fluffed out the white table clothe before patting the bed and sitting down in the chair at the end.
"Bitch, I cant wait to pull this look at the party" He said barely parting his lips. He laid flat on the table with his eyes closed.
I adjusted my steamer as I slid the dead skin off his face with my tool. "Girl, what party" I said tilting my head to the side
He popped his eyes open and looked at me "oh my God, you forgot. My brother's party. Saturday! at 10?" He rolled his eyes as he closed them again "I cant believe you forgot and I invited you like 10 times"
"Shit, I do remember the party. I just forgot it was this weekend. I'll be there with Essence" I said "Whats the vibe"
He shrugged his shoulders a bit "Im guessing just bad bitches. You know how his parties get." I had been to couple of Justins parties. I was actually very fond of Justin before he graduated.
"Okay, I might have something I could pull out. If not come to the mall with me" I said
"I can see if I can fill you in the schedule boo" He said
I laughed while faking being offended "Oh, Bitch whatever. I am the schedule" I finished his facial and started to clean up behind myself. We swapped places after I received my grade. Zavi rubbed a product onto my skin as he asked me "So how your fine ass brother doing"
