Happy Valentine's Day!

A/N: Happy Valentine's Day! Even though I don't see the point of the holiday.... But whatever, this is based on SakuraGarcia8 valentine's related request!

You woke up with a slight skip in your step. It was finally Valentine's day and you actually had a Valentine this year, at least that's what you thought.

"Hey, Sin," you said, excited. He kissed your forehead and wrapped his arms around you.

"Hello, my love."

You smiled and handed him a bouquet of flowers. He grabbed them with a bewildered look, "what the occasion?" He asked.

You looked at him with confusion, "do you not remember what day it is?" You tilted your head.

He blinked, "is something important happening today?"

After he asked that, your eyes went from the warmest summer to coldest winter. Even in the warm room, you two were in, Sinbad could feel a slight breeze. If it was from your eyes or the outside, he didn't know.

"Are you okay, Y/N?" He asked. You didn't answer. You pushed him away from you and left the room, leaving a confused Sinbad behind.

"Y/N-san, are you okay?"

You looked down and saw Sharrkan looking up at you with a confused look. You placed a hand on his head and smiled, "don't worry, I'm fine."

He nodded and put his hands behind his back in a shy manner. He looked down and blushed. He looked back up and from behind his back came a single red flower.

You looked surprised and then you smiled. You took the flower and blushed as you admired it, "thank you, Sharr. This is sweet."

"Happy Valentine's day, Y/N-san."

You giggled and kissed his cheek. Sharrkan blushed and placed a hand on his cheek.

"Y-Your welcome, Y/N-san," he stuttered and ran off, a little embarrassed. You knew Sharrkan had a slight crush on you, but it was adorable.

You laughed, but that soon faded as you Sinbad walk up to you. "He gave you a flower?" He asked sternly.

"Yeah? What of it?" You countered. Sinbad looked taken aback at your tone, as he was taken aback you stood up and walked off.

After about quite a bit, you decided to take the bull by the horns and start putting small hints on what day it is today.

All around the company your put small hearts, with Ja'far's permission of course, and bouquets in the shape of hearts.

Sinbad looked around with a bewildered look, "oi, Mystras, what are all these hearts doing around here?"

Mystras stiffened, "I'm sorry, Sinbad, but I can't say."

"What?"

Mystras walked off to avoid further question and Sinbad tapped Serendine as she was walking by.

"What's going on?" He asked. She only scoffed, rolled her eyes, and walked off. He rose a brow and began to ask around.

Some didn't even answer and others said they couldn't say. A little later you came by and he asked you.

"You still haven't figured it out?" You asked sadly. He didn't want to shake his head, but you already knew the answer.

You sighed, "alright." You then walked to yours and Sinbad's shared bedroom and locked the door.

"Will someone please explain what is going on?!"

Serendine sighed, having had enough of his cluelessness, she gave him a small hint. "Look at the calendar, doofus."

Sinbad glared at her for the insult, but then went to look and then felt like the biggest asshole to ever walk the earth. It was Valentine's day. And he had no idea.

He groaned and grabbed fistfuls of his hair, "I'm such an ass," he muttered.

"True," commented Serendine. He couldn't even glare at her because he knew it was true, but he suddenly perked up and ran out the door.

You heard a knock on the door and glared, "go away!" You yelled.

"Y/N-san, may I speak to you?"

It was Sharrkan. You felt guilty for yelling at him and opened the door. You kneeled down to his level, "something wrong?" You asked.

He grabbed your hand, "follow me." You rose a brow but shrugged.

As he walked you outside, there was a small bright light on a hill with a tree on top.

On top of the hill was the tree with lanterns hanging from the branches and sitting under it was a blanket with food and wine.

You looked at Sharrkan, "did you do this?" You asked it was quite endearing to see small child spend that much effort on something like this.

He was about to answer until a voice cut him off, "no, it was me."

You looked to see Sinbad leaning against the tree with a hand on his hip and a smirk on his face. Tears pooled your vision as you realized that he finally remembered and made a romantic setting just for the two of you.

You ran up to him and wrapped your arms and legs around him. "Thank you so much, I love you," you whispered.

He chuckled, "I love you too, my queen."

Omake:

"Oh yeah. I remember now, that was so romantic." You reminisced as Sinbad told you the story of the first Valentine's you two shared.

You then laughed, "I was also Sharr's first Valentine too."

He covered his face which now sported a heavy blush, "did you have to bring that up?"

"Aw, come on. It was cute and funny to see Sinbad jealous about you giving me a flower." You laughed.

Yamraiha burst out laughing, "hahaha, you were even more of an idiot than you are now."

"What did you say, magic freak?!"

"You heard me!"

The two then began to fight as the rest of the generals continued to laugh at the story from so long ago.
