I know I said that I was taking a hiatus to write for something else (which I did start), but it's bothering me how I left a few things undone, so, I might return soon. Also with the last chapter spoilers, I just wanted to write something and here it is. I had also posted this on Tumblr btw, so then you guys can know that I didn't steal this.

As the title suggests I'll be talking about what house Sinbad would be sorted into, I was actually really excited when the idea popped into my brain. For this, I'll be using examples from both anime and manga.

But, before anything, let's get rid of that elephant in the room of the Harry Potter fandom. Not all Slytherins are villains if you need some clarification on that just take a look at Draco's progress throughout the books and even if Snape was a vile human being he was never necessarily a villain. Besides, it's not the Slytherin houses' fault that most villains just coincidently have its traits.

Not to mention, Peter was a Gryffindor and betrayed his own best friends (need I remind you in case you don't know, loyalty is the basic foundation of Gryffindors).

Anyway, as I'm already obviously suggesting, I think Sinbad would be sorted into the Slytherin house. Before I get fully into the reasons let me tell you what characteristics are valued in Slytherin.

Slytherins tend to be ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented.

More traits (and just in case some of you don't know the meaning I'll put them (no need to feel shame if you don't))

Resourcefulness - the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties.Cunning - having or showing skill in achieving one's ends by deceit or evasion.Ambition - a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.Determination - firmness of purpose; resolutenessSelf-Preservation - the protection of oneself from harm or death, especially regarded as a basic instinct in human beings and animals.Fraternity (unfortunately, I don't really know what she meant by this)Cleverness - the quality of being clever; ingenuity or shrewdness. (Pretty self-explanatory).

Now, before some of the hardcore Sinbad fangirls take out their torches and pitchforks for me putting him the evil, vile Slytherin house (note the sarcasm). Sinbad is not a golden boy with no faults in case some still think so, he has his faults and I will admit the only quality not like him is self-preservation. The rest is pretty much like him.

Anyway, let's just go down the list here. First is resourcefulness, as it shows in SnB when he enters Baal's dungeon, this is only in the anime as far as I can tell, when he used Drakon's shield to ride the small geysers sprouting out of the walls. Another time is during Balbadd when he taught Alibaba a way to restore Magoi which included carrying gasoline (or oil?) and striking it on the ground with his sword to make fire. He doesn't even have a fire djinn and he already knew how to help, probably would've come up with it way before Alibaba would anyway (no offense to him).

Not to mention that second example (when he tells Alibaba to use gasoline) goes for cleverness as well.

Even Drakon sees some form of resourcefulness and cleverness by the way he talks about him. (And I think it's pretty safe to say that cleverness is covered by this point).
